I read a recent negative review about Ship Shape Marine Canvas. I had a polar opposite experience with Richard, the owner. His price was the most competitive. He was timely and finished the project in the time frame allotted for the job. He even did a little extra work without an extra charge. AND....the quality of his work is exceptional. We would, and have, highly recommend Ship Shape Canvas and Awning.
Horrible customer service, the owner Richard Daino has no character or integrity, makes promises he has no intention of keeping. Make your deposit via credit card so that you have some protection when your order is weeks post the promised delivery date. If you call with a problem richard Daino will dodge your calls and if you ever get your order they typically will underperform in the delivery, install or quality of workmanship. I had this crook do work on my 70' MY Flybridge, pilothouse, galley and foredeck sette and he promised 4 -6 weeks and finally delivered nearly three months post the promised date and never finished the job. Had to find a reputable company to correct his countless errors at great cost. Look him up on the at the Better Business bureau site https://www.bbb.org/south-east-florida/business-reviews/boat-covers-tops-and-upholstery/ship-shape-marine-canvas-in-lighthouse-point-fl-90056219 Daino makes a good sell but has no follow through.
