When I first contacted Sherry about about a horse she had for sale, she seemed totally legit. She claimed the horse was bombproof after I explained what kind of horse I was looking for. She was kind, and seemed interested in finding the horse the right home. As soon as the sale was completed, shebecame super evasive and wouldn't answer any more of my questions. She was also super defensive when I asked her questions.
Do NOT buy a horse from her! She will seem very nice, but once she has what she wants... your money...she will try to get you to buy more of her horses, and try to get you to send her more money for things that she bought your horse, and for upkeep. She will also claim that she needs more money because the cost of feeding has gone up. Buy local from a horse seller that won't try to rip you off.
While I am glad the horse she advertised and sold me is technically the right one, he is far from bombproof. Not even close. Don't buy her stories that a horse is bombproof because everyone from the horse handlers via shipping, to my new vet, agrees that he has a very long way to go before he could considered bombproof. We are dealing it, and will give him the best home. But, do not trust Sherry Bailey to deal with you in an upfront and honest way. Any horse seller who will refuse to answer questions about the horse isn't worth dealing with. Learn from my mistake. Stay away from her. She completely misrepresented this horse.
