Sherman Deach, Roy Wa., may be the most talented con-artist/horse trader/scam there is.
Bought 2 horses from him last year, told me they were trail horses, and they are not. They are as green as kermit the frog. Told me they were just "a little rusty". It sounds like he has done this for years.. he has quite the rap sheet. I am thankful that I saved these 2 horses from such a low-life. I have given them a good home, lots lof love, food and am training them to be good riding horses. But it is coming at a cost... and a high one at that. I didn't set out to buy a project, but these 2 geldings are just that. If I ever see this guy in public, he better hope to god that he can out run me. He owes me some $$ and time, that I will never get back.

This story will sound extremely familiar to everyone else that has been ripped off by Mr. Sherman. We purchased a horse 5 days ago that Mr. Sherman swore and promised was a completely sane and safe horse that had no issues what so ever and promised me over and over that nothing was wrong with him.
We agreed to purchase the horse after riding him in his areana and watching Mr. Sherman ride him and showing us everything the horse could do. I rode the horse and let my daughter ride him with no incident. We came back to bring the horse home the next day and thought it was strange that Mr. Sherman had a horse tied out there with the horse we were purchasing both times we came over.
Now I know that this horse is extremely heard bound and freaks whenever he is not around another horse. Compeletly unsafe and not okay for a beginning rider which again Mr. Sherman swore he was and promised his grandchildren showed this horse without incident.
I took the horse into my trainiers facility and had her look at him along with another very established and knowledable trainer and they are not even sure this horse can ever be ridden again because he is so lame in the back. It looks like the horse has an old injury that might be the cause of the lameness but he certainly is very lame and unrideable. So I just spent $4000 on a pasture buddy basically.
I was ripped of by Mr. Sherman and I would love for anyone of the previous reporters on here to get into contact with me to see what kind of repercussions we can get. I certainly plan on speaking with a lawyer and with the amount of evidence here alone we should have a case.
