Shane Oren Reviews

  • Jan 30, 2022

Shane Oren is a software sales leader that has been sexually harrassing women, acting sexist towards women, and bullying sales teams for several years. He's known for falsifying his sales quotas and was recently fired from a recurring billing software company both for lack of performance and also for sexual harrassment.

He openly talks bad not only about female leaders (his counterparts), but about any woman he feels could be a threat to him, or even women he might be attracted to. He speaks about sexual topics at work that make people feel uncomfortable including telling people him and his wife are swingers and have an open relationship.

He's been recorded on work calls speaking negatively about women, even insulting how they look physically, whether it be "they don't look good, " to even inappropriately attempting to compliment their appearance as a way to "hit on them" to get them to like him.

He not only treats women within the company he works for inappropriately, but also outside work colleagues outside the company as well.

Several complaints were brough against Shane, but it took over a year for the company to take action, and during that time, more women were negatively affected by his behavior. He often speaks poorly of others, even high performers, to try to make himself look good.

His sales pipeline is also embellished, and he's the master of delegation, yet does no work himself. He cannot pitch a product, yet built an entire team of Directors and VP's underneath him so he could, as he says, have his own "kingdom". Shane also closes deals that cannot be supported and aren't a good for what a company's software can do.

Shane is charming, and smiles to your face, while often saying untrue and malicious things behind your back. He often did this to the CEO of the company he was recently fired from, telling people he could "do the CEO's job better". I'd caution any technology company looking to hire him.
