This guy who calls himself Mark, LEON OR Lior, who is supposed to be the project manager came to my mother in laws house and solicited her to re model her bathroom than by the time he left her home she had givin this theif her credit card and a bill for 14,000 fourteen thousand dollars of un necessary work she was told that needed to be done .
Her bathroom is only 5x6 feet in size and to charge an 81 year old single lady who is on a fixed income and still has to work to suport herself is criminal and this company should be reported to every agency expecially where elderly people are concerned.
This guy who says his experience is because he worked at sears. His real name is unknown but the company name is SGI every employee there is using the same license number for general building contractor. # license number 978044..

After having work performed by your company’s contractor Michael Shimonl, lic # 978044 and his crew (subcontractors?) partially completed for a sum of $18,500.00 plus it has been revealed and determined that the work is sub-standard for the amount charged with used and outdate fixtures , but charged for new ones. I feel as though I am a victim of fraud. I understood my bill to be about $9000.00, which I think is too much for what was done. I am nearly blind and could not read the (illegible hand written) estimate, and it was read to me by the contractor.
It was provided for me (only after being requested) in typed, legible format on August 23rd, weeks after the work was completed. I feel cheated because my written estimate was unreadable and because I am paying $18,500 for work that I thought was going to cost about $9,000.00. I have been told that the work done is not worth the $9,000 I was originally expecting to pay!
I am currently making payments to two (2) financial institutions /companies under dispute andprotest that I cannot afford the monthly payments under pressure in order to try to protect my credit but also to avoid a lien being place on my home. I am a 88 year old disabled and nearly blind woman with a completely blind husband. Our income is minimal and this additional monthly payment is causing an extreme hardship on our budget.
No reasonable resolution of this situation has been made after several attempts have been made with the contractor other than I have been grossly overcharged. Therefore this project is in dispute/complaint is being forwarded to the State of California Contractors’ Board for review.
This company targets homeowners and the elderly to harass them. They call your house over and over everyday and harass you on the phone verbally and mentally. Even when you ask to be removed from the call list, you are still called numerous times per day by telephone representatives who are rude, use curse words and are very unprofessional. This company needs to be stopped but when you try to call back, there is a message saying the number is disconnected.
There are people who call using false names, lieing and saying that you made an appointment to come to your house. They tell you that they are not selling anything, they tell you lies, lies and more lies. Then when they manage to find a good enough lie to get into your house to do one of their so called FREE estimates, they come and are extremely aggressive and deceptive. IT takes more than 15-45 minutes, it can take hours.
This is an awful company that steals your money and does anything to try to trick you into making an appointment. DO NOT fall for it. Get an answering machine and screen your calls. They will NOT remove you from the call list and no one seems to be able to stop them since they continue to call your house everyday and several times every week. Be warned, this company is selling something and they do not respect the homeowner's or consumer's rights.
These people has harrassed me for months now trying to sell unlicensed contractors to do remodeling. Their Phone # id's them as Invalid number and give s a bogus # of 562-358-9914.. when called it says it has been disconnected. I have asked numerous times to be removed from their call list only to be called again and again on the same day! I have asked the caller for a contractors Lic.# and they gave me a bogus #..
This Company SGI REMODELING is one of the worst harassing telemarketing company's I have ever dealt with! They have called me every day for about a month..
