I responded to a listing to lease a property and George Geles was listed as the leasing agent for the unit. We agreed to meet at the property and he showed me some things about it, we discussed utilities, and who pays for water, and electric as well as sewer and trash.
Overall George was evasive when it came down to giving firm answers as to who pays for what. In the case of water lets say, there is the notion that the units are "Twinned" being mine shares water and a fire door with the unit next door and we are A and B units.
The dialog become more bizarre, being his responses when it started to sound like he is accusing me of something and that I am paying/being punished for something.
I glossed over most of what he said wrong in the want to say lets see where this goes and maybe I heard wrong, and he was also soft on billing of electric power.
This implies to me that they bill wrongly, maybe these are shill or bogus listings, I see lots of them overall in OZ done this way, and/or that they just invent numbers to bill tenants for things they can't know, can not bill for, or otherwise have no proof of usage for.
This starts to look like an organized real estate crime cabal with a bunch of blame the victim foundations for it.
Doing such things (to me, and likely others) would be impossible and illegal.
Despite that he accepts an application from me since he said lets move forward, I submit it along with proof of income and my ID information and after waiting a week or more he responds only when I prompted him, that someone else was put into the unit, saying the owner decided on someone else.
No want to say did you want to purchase a home, maybe some other listings, etc. He just slammed the door on me. Why?
Based on that aspect alone, I would never use George Geles or Seven Star Realty since he is too lazy to work and he is a liar and thief beyond that.
This also now looks like an offer of identity theft since he had no intention to lease the unit to me.
There is no reason to reject since my money is good, I am a pensioner so it won't ever go away, and my character is also proven to be good.
I continued to search listings, and saw that he in fact lied since the same unit sat empty and was still listed with him and other agents for almost one year later. I checked.
There is a swamp land for sale problem here. George makes it worse and for others if you listed a home with him and paid him, why did he not sell the home to me?
And again for George and I we even discussed making a deposit, would I be willing to do that, we agreed it could be done in cash, etc. So what is the problem?
This is a fraud and he is a con artist in total.
