Do not be fooled, Seterus is only a debt collector for the federal government of the United States. Seterus/IBM is using unethical practices to foreclose on millions of Americans homes via the U.S government. If, you have been served foreclosure papers, the federal government is the issuer not Seterus.

Seterus/IBM has a government contract so, instead of making technology for the government it is a lacky for the government. With all that is happening in the United Ststes with Covid 19, the U.S. government is still and never has looked out for its citizens.

Seterus of Newark and Oregon are the worst brokerage, mortgage, collection agency in the WORLD!!!

I have had a mortgage with them for at least 8 years and they have stolen so much money from me. I have had a few moments of financial hardship during my time with them, but I would always pay by scraping up partial payments until all of the money due for the particular month was paid in full. Seterus claims "They don't like partial payments" but they accepted them anyway and then stole them from my account and put them in their own pockets.

They charged me ancillary fees, inspection fees, recoverable corporate charges, and late fees which they took from my mortgage installments without ever telling me until they claimed I owe thousands of dollars. They hire thugs to speak rudely to you and are more like loan sharks than a mortgage company. I called yesterday and the day before, to get a load of this, pay them $2900(plus what was already in suspense, $407.35) to make the account current, they sent a "Notice of Intent to Foreclose" to shut me up. I paid all of this on April 12th , 2017 after paying $3747 for the months of February, March, and April of 2017. My mortgage payment is only supposed to be $1165 a month with a modification since April 2015. I tracked the money that I paid them yesterday and a A. BANYAH signed for it and picked up the money from the post office at 8:50am this morning.

They want to foreclose even though they took my money TWICE OVER for the LAST THREE MONTHS!!! They want to send my family--My autistic son, my two teenage daughters and myself into the street with no justification, plus STEAL the bread out of our mouths at the same time. Where is the justice? Where is the equality for the consumer who bleeds and sweats for their daily bread?

I purchased my home in 11/07 with a mortgage with chase for 304,000.00. everything was fine until I lost my job in 2009. I called chase to let them know so they put me on a forbearance plan for 5 months. I paid them on time than in 11/09 they put me on a trial modification. They kept asking me for paperwork which I faxed to them 6 times getting the same answer we did not get this form or that form. I even went to a chase bank and faxed paper work straight to a person who told me this would work. This still wasn't good enough. Then in august of 2010 I called chase again and they said I was approved for the modification and I would get a letter in the mail. Well I got a letter saying they sold my mortgage to LBPS. They told me I could still pay this company the same amount I was paying chase. This lasted for only one year. Than LBPS said I had to pay more. Than I get a letter from Seterus they were my new servicer. I called Fannie Mae and they helped my get a modification with seterus. Now seterus is going to raise my interest rate up raising my payment up. What I don't understand with all the payments I made over the years and never missing any payments why are they saying I owe them 314,452.33. Where did all that money go and why all the lies about these different modifications and lies about missing faxes and missing pages. It seems what ever you do it's not enough. They are a bunch of lying thieves only out to take your home or rip you off.

I recently found that the house I bought in the year 2002 in the month of Aug. -Oct 2002 was a fradulent sale.

This house previously owner bought the house 2001 and was forced out Aug 2002, before foreclosed 5 months into the house only. When I bought the bank did not report my payment to the credit bureau. I never missed a payments before with Bank America they held my payment and put me into foreclosure with Seterus, but Fannie Mae name was used. I called Fannie Mae they said they did not foreclose on me. My court date and lawyer was sept 2013 I was not behind so the Judge said you have no reason to foreclose. Feb 2014 Judge do not bring this person back until you proof why you are foreclosing. so Sept 2014 Seterus ask for 6 month payments I paid and make payments to Seterus until court date when they switched judges and said sale house. I have returned checks and proof from the credit burea that I made my payments I was forced into foreclosure, and blocked from refinancing to get away from Seterus/Bank of America. So since 2013-to 2015 when they told me they sold my house. My house was sold over and over again to the investment groups. the house was sold 2016 to Fannie Mae for 45 days then given to Soutside realtors properties and they broke into my house stolen my items out of the house. Damaged the house in 2016 Feb became me and filed on my homeowners insurance. to repair the house. Help me I have lived in the house for over fourteen years. I have pictures and evidence of this mortgage fraud.

I have a rental property that I pay separate Taxes and Insurance for. We have the same renters for the past 2 years living there. Seterus , took it upon them selves to charge fees, late fees, Escrow fees, for this property that is already paid in full every year. To try and steal our home into forclosure they had a third party company pay our taxes after we already did! Our tax office here in Texas which I have the signed copy of check cashed by Seterus not the third party in full , was trying at first to deny they had received the funds. Now they opened an escrow and won't leave us alone nor our tenants with threatning letters to foreclose on our property. One more note, Never ever with Seterus taking over 2014 have we ever been late, nor missed one single monthly payment, although they try to force us to pay the set escrow fees before us that should never been there to begin with. Now there about to steal our home and I can't get them to Stop...

Yep, they bought my mortgage from OCWEN (another rip off) in 2015. All payments made on time as they have to be I am in a chapter 13. Now they can't find 2013 payments, first it was March, April, May, June July of 2016 but the received January and February? Really? Now upon buying my mortgage they sent that letter that said: If you mail Pmt. mail to OR. office if you transfer and they give a Tampa, FL. which you put in Bill pay, which comes up so when you pay your bank transfers to their account number on file.

We as consumers can not get the account number but Suntrust has verified it went to the information on document mailed. Read on glass door what past employees say, you have to be a scam artist to work their, they teach them to hold payments back so they can foreclose. They are piers and rip offs. Tacking on late fees which I will not ever pay. Done with them and no help! Come on Federal Government, these people are not helping your programs that these mortgages are under?

My home mortgage was sold to Seterus from Citi in Feb of 2014 and they claim I was deliquent on march 2014?

I have been trying to show them I have cancelled chekcs they cashed for every month before and after the sale to them from Citi.They have filed foreclosure on my home and I do not know why?

Since Bank of America sold our mortgage to Seterus aug 1 2015 it has been a nightmare for us, They use our escrow to raise our payments ,we have our house insurance paid until Oct,19,2016 and we pay our own property tax ,all documents of proof has been faxed on this matter, every time they are contacted by phone we get a different person that in no way seems to know what they are doing They threaten to foreclose on a escrow payment after they said 'that our escrow account was closed '. and they also said 'they would be sending back they money in escrow and never did , This company needs to be checked out by the federal government, Just because your loan gets sold does not mean the company has the right to miss use peoples accounts ,There is suppose to be laws to protect the home owner Never ever let a company talk you into a loan modification and if interested in refinancing use a bank, Never a finance company because your loan can be sold many ,many times and each time it goes to another company it only gets worse
