My attorney was so eager to just settle the case without even fighting the case and just settle the case so he can make a quick buck. I wanted to go to trial then he had said that i would owe him a bunch of money if he would go dow that path.
He even belittled me on the phone and questioned my expertise in my field which turned into a very uncomfotable conversation and a heated arguement. I also agree with Teri, stay away from these blood suckers.
So my wife was fired. Wrongful Termination. She was harrased, AND there is a question of age discrimination. Sessions and Kimball told her (prior to being fired) IF they fire you, make this your first stop. She did.
She was told her case would probably settle in the neighborhood of $250,000-$300,000. WITHOUT ever seeing a courtroom. She was distraught, regardless, even asking "What if they fight it and win?" She was TOLD, "I only take cases I KNOW I can win.
Cost her 900.00 bucks to get things rolling.
Well turns out, cases against a COUNTY employer RARELY win. Wasn't what she was led to believe. Turns out there are only a handful of lawyers who will even LOOK at the case against a COUNTY employer. The number that will persue it? None that we could find.
OH! and another attorney, with nothing to lose I might add, said the case my wife had, generally, (IF SUCCESSFUL) would probably amount to oh... $50,000 tops.
Sessions and Kimball kicked my wife to the curb with 1 week before the statute of limitations to file the case. HOWEVER if my wife WISHED to continue... Cough up $15,000...
WTF?
If these shysters had seen the number of nights my wife CRIED while she was harrased, if they could have comprehended the amount of WRONG that might have been CORRECTED because it NEEDS to be, (County breathes a little easier here BABY!) IF they were attorneys with INTEGRITY, well there would be a different ending.
It wasn't about the money S&K, it was about the INJURY my wife suffered, after performing TOP LEVEL for 3 years with NOTHING BUT KUDOS, even by the mangy cur that sent her second in command to fire my wife while she was off enjoying sun and sand. The county truly lost, my wife out performed every jackass she worked with, except for 4 top individuals, who are still shocked about this.
SESSIONS and KIMBALL. They will gladly take a retainer. They will sucker punch you with a "Find another attorney" letter. But! Only if it is too late to do so. TOTALLY WORTHY of this site, as they RIP YOU OFF. BEWARE PEOPLE! NO $HxT!
