They lie and are not very professional, I was asked to mystery shop 3 OnRoutes on the 401 and was told I had to the 28th of July to finish the shops, I told the person I was speaking to that I was on vacation and would not be back until the 21st of July. The gentlemen I was speaking too said I had plenty of time to finish the contract on the OnRoutes. I had to change my dates when I came back from my vacation for the West and East bound OnRoute for the 27th of July and was told it was OK and the dates was changed by the person taking care of the contract. I was not told I had to have them done by 4pm on the 27th of July which was impossible to do I was on the road back to Gatineau Qc from Odessa OnRoute Eastbound . I checked my messages on my voice mail and checked the email from Helpdesk that they had to be done that day not a time was said to me until I received a phone call on the road. I told her that was impossible because I was 3 hours away and the traffic would be very heavy driving home through the Ottawa/Gatineau area.

I did promise to have the assignment s in by 6pm by a manager whom was not a manager she was just an employee posing as a message. After my shops was entered they closed my account which was very immature of them because I worked with them for over 3 years and never had a problem and was called to do shops for them that could not be done by other shoppers. They didn't even have the respect or honor me with a phone call or email me why my account was closed, all the employees lied and said I would be contacted in a few days that they was working on it and I was never contacted. The company selects certain shoppers to do their shops and the rest that was 150 to 250Kms away was put on their website for other shopper to pick up which was very few. Since this new company took over Service Metric it is getting worse there used to be lots of shops to choose from but they lost all the contracts over a year and half. This company now has staff members that will not listen to what you have to say for suggestion from shoppers at all.

As Well, I told them while working on Canadian Tire managers the audit sheet was passed to them for a signature that their store was audit and was at all. The Canadian Tire audits was never checked by these individuals and the CT was rewarded 100% from head office for a store that was not completed by the shopper. I was told by the person from Service Metric that it was not true so Canadian Tire is paying big dollars to this company to do a proper audit which was never perform. I would like to tell all people that if you apply for a position for a shopper at Service Metric apply but be aware you will never find a shop because they select shoppers of their choice and put the shops on their website that other shoppers do not want to travel because these shops are 150 to 250kms away. I feel bad for Canadian Tire head office because they are giving awards to store managers that should never get the points where the audits was never performed by a shopper. As far as I am concerned no one should get 100% if the job is not done properly and the manager doing this audit should not give their signature on a audit unless properly done by a shopper and manager together.
