Serafina Skincare Reviews

I SENT FOR A FREE TRIAL OF THEIR PRODUCT, AND WITHOUT MY PERMISSION, OR KNOWLEDGE, THEY NOT ONLY ENROLLED ME IN THEIR AUTOSHIP PROGRAM, BUT IMMEDIATELY SENT TO ME TWO OF THEIR PRODUCTS, AND CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD, APPROX., $95, FOR EACH TINY JAR, WHICH I NEVER ORDERED. THEIR AD WAS THAT IF I SENT THEM APPROX. $10, FOR SHIPPING, THEY WOULD SEND ME THEIR TRIAL OFFER. IN NO PLACE, WAS IT WRITTEN, THAT I HAD A SHORT TIME TO TRY IT, AND IF I DIDN'T ANSWER, THEY WOULD ENROLL ME IN THEIR AUTOSHIP. THEIR PRODUCT MAY NOT BE BAD, ALTHOUGH I BROKE OUT IN BLEMISHES WHICH AT THE AGEE OF 71, I DID NOT EXPECT THAT TO HAPPEN.

I AM DISGUSTED IN THE WAY THEY MARKET THEIR PRODUCT. I N-E-V-E-R.....ACCEPTED A FUTUER PROGRAM WITH THEM...THERE WAS A PLACE TO CHECK OFF THAT I AGREED TO PAY FOR THE SHIPPING FOR THE TRIAL STUFF, BUT APPARENTLLY THEY WERE THE ONES WHO CHECKED OFF ANYTHING FURTHER. I AM APPALLED THAT I WAS SCAMMED....AND I AM APPALLED THAT I WAS CHARGED SO MUCH MONEY, ON MY CREDIT CARD, THAT I DID NOT GIVE THEM PERMISSION TO USE. I DID CALL THEM, AND THE GIRL FOUGHT WITH ME FOR 1/2 HOUR, SAYING THAT I ORDERED THE PRODUCT.....AND I DID NOT!!! SHE FINALLY GAVE ME AN ULTIMATUM, THAT I COULD PAY FOR HALF PRICE OF THE PRODUCT SENT, OR THAT SHE WOULD SEND THE AUTHORITIES , TO MAKE ME PAY. I TOLD HER THAT I WOULD CANCEL ME CREDIT CARD, AND SHE THREATENED TO SEND THE BILL COLLECTORS TO MY HOME. SHE USED A SCARE TACTIC, AND IT WORKED....I PROBABLY WILL HAVE TO PAY THE 90 ODD DOLLARS TO THEM, BUT I REALLY SHOULDN'T HAVE TO, AS THEY WERE THE SCAMMERS, AND THEY SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO SELL ANYTHING TO ANYONE, AT ALL, E=V=E=R!!!

IF THERE ARE OTHERS OUT THERE WHO HAVE HAD THE EXACT SAME EXPERIENCE, I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW. I DID WRITE TO THE ATTRONEY GENERAL OF CALIF., AND THEY ARE KEEPING MY MESSAGE ON FILE. THEY DID CALL SERAFINA, AND OF COURSE, THEY LIED TO HIM ABOUT WHAT THEY DID, AND HOW THEY DID IT. I SYGGEST THAT ANYONE WHO HAS HAD THIS HAPPEN TO THEM....PLEASE DO WRITE TO THEIR ATTORNEY GENERAL.

Serafina offers a free sample and what you don't know is a full price product will show up in 2 weeks and they have a no return policy. Had i not read the Yscam and called the company immediately i would have stared getting the product at $88 per shipment and they have a no return policy, and they charge to your credit card without authorization, but what you don't know is that when accept the free sample they get that authorization.

As i mentioned had i not read the Yscam this woulld have happened to me. I called and cancelledThey offered a 50% then a 75% and on and on i said no) and said i would send back but they said due to heath reasons they can not acept the product back? It's a sneaky and almost illegal way to at least get $88 out of you because when you get your first box you can't send it back and they already have your money.

I don't care if it's a good product and the way their selling the product is an absolute scam. I'll never except a free product again, must be some reason they are giveing away eh.

This company offers a "shipping only" sample of their skin care adding on a "shipping insurance." then they charge you an outrageous price of $89.97 if you don't cancel in 14 days, continuing to send more products and charges.

These conditions in their advertizment are very hard to see. When called they refuse to refund for the product.

Also the charges are under a different name on your statement so it's hard to know what the charge is for. Very deceptive company. I believe they offer the same product and scam under different names.

DO NOT BUY

I only agreed to a free sample with a $4.95 one time only shipment charge! Later I find out they charged my credit card for $89 for that little sample and they also enrolled me in an auto shipment program and billed me an additional $94 for another little sample that is on its way. When I called to complain and told the company I didn’t agree to this, they said by clicking that I am over 18 years old this was agreeing to this program. I immediately cancelled the account they had started without my permission and contacted my credit card to dispute the charges! I feel that this is VERY underhanded and shady business practice and I will be informing everyone I know!

After seeing on my home page that a prominant actor was so impressed with this product that he invested in the company so the product could be distributed in the U.S. Feeling that no prominent person would attach their name to something unfair, I went to the page on October 28 and saw the page covered with the misleading information that I would only have to pay the postage for the 30 day "free" samples. On day 15, (Nov 11) my checking account was billed for $85.97 and $89.97! I called the company with the number provided by my bank (the printed receipt from the initial order had no contact number nor any reference to 15 days, nor did anything that came in the product package). I was told that I had agreed to be charged these two amounts after use of the product for 15 days if I did not cancel by day 14. I told them that I saw no agreement to this effect and had examined the web site thoroughly. The lady I spoke to said this flashed on the screen when I checked that I was 18 years of age or older. I did not see this and would not have ordered the product under these circumstances. Also, the costs of these products appeared no where on the website. If the company thought this practice was being fair to consumers, why did they not display the 15 day requirement prominently on their website?

I ordered the product on October 28 and was billed for what this lady said was the full amount of the cost of the products on November 11. I initially thought these large amounts were for additional products and I was calling to cancel further orders and was told this was for the sample products I had already received. I did not receive the product until November 2 which was 9 days before being charged for the sample product I received. I told her I would return the product to them. She said since I had already used some of it, they could not accept it. Therefore, I am paying $186.88 for these 2 products that so far in 9 days do not appear to be working at all.

I don't think anything can be done about this even though the website was covered in "30 day free sample" all over it, I could not check out what the lady said about 15 days flashing on the screen when you checked 18 or older because I was afraid I would be roped into another "free sample" and I cannot afford any more "free sample" charges like this.

Thank you for allowing me to post this. I know my money is gone and I feel pretty confident that I paid a very high price for believing in the good business practices of others, but I hope this prevents other gullible (yet careful) consumers from falling for this sleezy business practice. Thank you.

On 10/4/2017 I saw an email add that said you could try Sarafina anti-aging cream for $4.97 cents (shipping and handling). I had heard a bunch of hype about the celebrity who makes this product, so fort he first timer ever, I clicked into the ad and check marked the anti-aging cream for $4.97 and proceeded to check out. I entered all of my delivery and credit card information. After I had input the credit card information, I clicke to proceed the payment process and it sent me into a screen with the Serefina eye-serum. I clicked the next button to get me out of the sight and it led me into another screen that was trying to charge me for a different product that cost about $30ish dollars (I cannot remember the amount). I could not get out and realized that every click was leading me into another product and I had realized I was charged for the Serefina eye-serum, and they sight was trying to charge me for the third screen. I kept hitting escape to get out of the third screen and then I shut my computer off, hoping the entire process would cancel. I went to my email and they had successfully charged me for the Serefina anti-aging cream and the Serefina eye-serum (which I did not want). The system had taken my card information and acted as if it was only charging me for the Serefina anti-aging cream, when in turn they have it set up to charge the card for every click you proceed to get out of the ordering process. I did not dispute the Serefina eye-serum (I figured why not try it for $5.97), so I had never called or emailed the contact information.

I received both products in the same package, with no postage cost or label to see how much it cost for delivery charges. I received my statement for October 4th, 2017 and saw a .99 cent charge, in addition to the $4.97 and $5.97. I was concerned, as there was no reason for this charge and was going to call and see whaat the charge of .99 cents was for.

Today, 11/9/17, I saw on channel 11 Los Angeles News a report about skin care product scams. I was appauled and a red flag went up for the Serifina product samples I purchased. I called the two numbers on my credit card statement (BON*Agingdermocomplex 888-894-7243/CA and Renewed eye 877-512-2853/NV. The phone rings and an answering service answers but does not identify what company it is. I get a lady named Cinnamon on the 888 number and she asks my zip code, name, and address. It seemed weird, so I stopped at my name and asked what company this is and why are you asking me these personal questions and if this is a real company. Cinnamon, replied she needs the information so she can pull up my information. I could not understand why my name could not be pulled up, but once we got past the phone interrogation, I was able to ask what the .99 cent charge was. Cinnamon replied it was for insurance, to protect the items that were sent. I was livid! It was like talking to a wall. I asked if she had my credit card information deleted as this was such a hoax. Cinnamon replies, I can cancel your membership. I about fell off my chair. Membership?? I never agreed to a membership and you need to cancel my card information and your membership I never authorized or knew about. She was getting up tight with me and I told her to do delete my information as soon as poosible and I need a confirmation number. FYI, during the conversation, she delayed response to all my questions and when I asked her why she took so long to respond, Cinnamon replied that she wanted to make sure I got all I needed to say, so she did not interupt me. I did not believe her and shared that with her... After a few minutes of holding, Cinnamon gets back on the phone and gives me confirmation numbers, for cancelling two memberships (I NEVER knew I had any memberships). The first was for the anti-aging cream conf#C3964176 and the second confirmation was for the eye-serum confirmation#C3964173. Hmmmm, I have never seen confirmation numbers so close together in number sequence. After dealing with Cinnamon, I immediately called my credit card company.

I had spoken with a credit card representative from my card company and had explained my situation, and it seems this is a very, very common fraud issue. I asked if there were any other charges, aside from the 4.97, .99, and 5.97 charge. The representative, said the two companies had made two charges on 10/17/17 in two amounts over $85.00 (I did not write down the exact amounts... I had to pick my jaw off the ground). I immediately dissputed the two charges and gave the credit card representative all the information I had to dispute the fraud charges.

After I spoke with the credit card company, I went into my email, as I was suppose to receive cancellation emails. I found them in my spam and when I clicked into them, they would not open. So I printed what I had and put in a saved file. I aslo called, both numbers to see what companies they were and they fought to tell me a name. The first girl resisted for a while but said they were ASK and from Santa Ana, Ca (888 number). The 877 number, the girl refused to tell me a name. I asked her whose name is on her pay check and she said it depends. I kept trying at it, and she said they have no company name. Both put me on hold and came back with a response. Very weird.

Order a trail for only the S & H. No invoices included in package. Check my bank this week and found charges for skin care products. Chenven Radiate eye and Skin youth eye. Both were in the $80's range for each.
