Sentry Marketing Group, LLC. Reviews
I did a shop in November, just one. I was paid $21 bucks for it. I got an email saying that the paper check option would be $2 or sign up with bill.com and they will pay me electronically thru there. I told them no. I would cancel my account and take the $2 penalty and bid them farewell. I was told then that they were going away from gigspot, and bill.com. and that i now had to sign up with dwolla.com to get my money. there is absolutely no way i will do that. I demanded a check and the guy David Agius, got real indignant with me. And told me that i had no option. Finally i pointed out that when i did the shop, a paper check was an option, and that legally had to honour that. he told me that it was a "special request " and would delay payment up to 30 more days. I verified they had my address and moved about my life.
a few days ago i got another email saying to be sure to sign up with dwolla to make sure i get paid, i immediately responded to the negative and told them i expected a paper check.
now, today. i get an email from dwolla, saying that my $21 was sitting there waiting for me to collect it, after i sign up of course. I immediately called and was rather rude to Pete over the phone and gave some choice words. I told him i was sorry, and i feel bad about it, but this is crazy. i want my money, and i absolutely refuse to sign up for a third party company to get paid.
David Agius will be emailing me back, but conveniently enough, he wasn't in the office today.
I am still awaiting my one and only check. I will not be signing up with dwolla.com bill.com or anything. I offered that they could use my paypal, since it is an internationally well known company. he refused.
I would never reccomend anyone to conduct shops for Sentry. I got sucked in when they had assignments posed on Gigspot. I registered for three assignments but cancelled the third when their schedulers kept calling about me “accepting” the assignment on Gigspot and I had done so hours earlier. What they pay per assignment is not worth the hassle. Now, let’s get down to when they pay, I completed shops over 45 days ago (mid-November of 2017) and have not been paid as of mid-January 2018. When I addressed this on their site I was told I would not be paid unless I signed up for Dwolla. I have no intentions of doing this. I then filed complaints against this company for withholding payment and was verbally assulted via email by the owner of the company. Listen to the reviews for Sentry Marketing, LLC. There is a reason shoppers say to steer clear of them.
