It became obvious within a few days of joining that SeniorSoulmates.com, which is connected with Date.com, are frauds.

With Senior Soulmates I had 31 messages, but only one of the supposedly potential mates had ever viewed my profile. How could that be? Some of those fake viewers were 100 years old and stood 4' 4". It's such a blatantly obvious scam to get your "up grade" money.

Disreputable Daing Site

Having been on most every dating site there is, I can attest to the sleazy methods this particular site uses to seduce users to join. I joined a week ago and within 48 hours I had more than 30 messages in my inbox. Being a seasoned online dating person, I am familiar with the winks, the photo likes, etc. that some people send, but I really thought that out of 30+ messages, there would be a few legitimate messages. I decided to join for a month, and when I checked my inbox, there was nothing but one-line scripted messages from who-knows-who. Within a couple more days, I had more than 50 messages. I replied to one of them to see what would happen, and he never responded, which made me realize that these "emails" were suspect.

Do yourself a favor, don't join this site -- it is nothing but a money-taker and a bait-and-switch operation. Any company that will not offer you a refund or want to salvage you as a customer isn't worth your hard-earned dollars.

I joined Seniorsoulmates dating site in Feb 2016. issues I have had are I did a chat thing with one of their Reps and ask him to make sure I wasn't on any auto-renewal list. I has just paid for 3 months memebership, but he didn't do what I ask. instead he cnaceled my memebership. I guess so they could keep the money I just pd them. they do not give refunds back at all. I claed numersous times, but they said my profile was active. when I check on my accounts in their site, it says I'm cancelled.

I was a Gold member, but now they have me listed as a PROMO member. They will not fix anything and they keep saying that I requested cancellation. I did not, I can't help it their rep doesn't understand English. I also notice, some of the woman that's contacted me, do not have real profiles, just contact you and gives you a fake e-mail address to contact them. Others are woman that I have explained over and over that do not Fit my Search. This site is very uncooperative and I believe it's a scam to reel people in. Nothing works right, always have issues. I got burned, Don't you so the same..

Upon attempting to contact them I keep getting an answering Machine that does not take a nessage I cancelled my subscription the 1 st part of September. Went directly to the site to see if I could find different contact information and found my Pictures and profile are still on the site. I am in the process of looking into either or not They are still charging Me I just Don't know where to go for Help.

They refused to refund my money . Replies are never answered, only reason I know of is these are bogus messages,.

Received bogus messages from "users", than had to pay to read the message, which I did. . When responded to messages, never received a reply. I sent numerous emails to customer service about several questions, such as; 1. Why are all messages the same? Reply system generated when they click like. 2. Requested a refund as this is a bogus site. Reply, no I agreed to their rules. 3. Why can't profiles on members be pulled up, immed after you say I have a message. Reply, they have deactivated their acct 4. I questioned why it appears my replies aren't getting a response. Waiting on their email now to tell me why. At one point I was told there was a way to send "free" messages, but didn't offer how. This is an obvious ripoff site that is taking advantage of senior citizens. Thank you

I wish I had done my research. Obviously this company is not on the up and up. We entered with the free program first and I was getting messages but they were blurred out. However there was a picture of the person and I was also able to view their profile. So far I have responded to quite a few who contacted me 1st. I have not gotten any responses to my responses. I did contact them about not wanting auto renewal as I want to be the one to decide whether to continue or not. They emailed me back and said I had to call. Here is the number... 1--877--226--3283. I used PayPal for the transaction.

This company is ripping me off!. I never gave my credit card number to them nor authorized a debit each month. They must have lifted my credit card info elsewhere. I never got anything online only a debit each month on my card. I had to contact the bank and destroy that card and have another one sent to stop this and have filed a fraud report. Beware of this scam folks. Check your credit card bills every month.

SeniorSoulMates leads you to believe that members are interested to tease you into joining, then you never get any response when you message them back.... TOTAL rip off. Wish I had checked reviews before I joined!

I helped my mom join Senior soulmates in hopes she would meet some people in her area to fill the void since losing her husband 5 years ago. I unfortunately used my visa debit card for a three month membership. When they notifed me via email that the membership was up for renewal, but my card had expired and the membership would soon be canceled unless I provided a new debit card number with valid expiration date. I declined and told them to go ahead and cancel the membership as my mom had found no use from it. Three days later, my card was charged for another three month membership. I contacted them immediately and asked how they could have gotten my new expiration date without my giving it to them. The person was rude and claimed that I must have provided the information. I must be mistaken, they would NEVER do such a thing. I asked for a refund and was told no. I further pressed to speak to a manager and I was disconnected. After being disconnected from their customer service chat several times, I was finally able to wrangle a phone number for "management". I called the number and spoke with an individual named Nino. He was also insistent that I must have given them the new expiration date and simply forgot... WRONG! I am 49 years old and in no way losing my memory! I explained the communications and was given a email address to send proof of the cancelation notice to. Three weeks later and no response. Additional calls have resulted in me being hung up on. This company is definately a fraud. Save yourself the time, money and aggravation of having to get a new credit/debit card number because they will never stop charging you.

By the way, I did dispute with my bank. Again, it's an internet transaction and the company claims I must have given them my new expiration date. It comes down to he said/she said and just pure common sense which I must have misplaced when I engaged in business with these shady people.

Oh and as for the site itself. Most of the profiles are fake. My mom tried to contact several of the supposed members and never received a single response. She's 68 and good looking woman, so hard to believe no one would even say hi.

I went on the SeniorSoulMate.com website from a spam email. Just out of curiosity I fill out what I was looking for in a soul mate. The next thing I see was a a message . I ignored it for several days. . But when I open it I got the message I have to join to read the messages. I join and the moment I discovered it was not a ligament person I quickly tried to cancel. But was instantly informed that I could not get a refund and I was locked into this site for a year! It's been 5 days of asking this website for a refund with the same answer (NO REFUNDS) this is a very unusual way to rip off people.

Non-active members listed as Active

There is a gentleman's photo that keeps showing on the 'Active Today' list; but I know for a fact that he is NOT an 'active' member. He hasn't been on the site for months. When contacted, customer service simply said that as long as he has an account... whether paid or not, he will show as 'Active'. Seniorsoulmates.com is a joke.

Web of Lies

Nigerian scammers are on senior soul mates. They are very convencing and trained. Senior soul mates do not scene persons only interested in money. The rating is a 1. I feel it is a made up web site to gain from seniors.

  • Feb 18, 2017

The Senior Soul Mate web site was down for nearly 6 months last year. I would have cancelled my membership but I could not access the website or my account. In December within a months time they billed my credit card for two 3 month payments. I have contacted them and their offer for refund was a very small portion of the total amount they have ripped me off and taken payment, which is: 3 month billing is 59.95 times 2 billings is $119.90 plus there were 2 months last September and October that were on the previous billing and the web site was down and I could not access, that would be $39.97 for a total of $159.87.

I did not find anyone to meet on this site, as I had such great difficulty getting on the site. Extremely poor in all respects!!! There are much better sites available that are honest, have good quality people representing the account and good people using the site.

My subscription to seniorsoulmates.com has not expired and their website has been down for over a week now. There is no way to get in touch with them. I pity the people who just signed up and now are out of luck and their money gone. Thankfully my subscription did not have long to run. I contacted my credit card company because they have an auto renewal that i didn't want to renew and now there is no way to get in touch with them!

Senior Soul Mates was a new on-line dating site (to me anyway). I filled out all the info, wrote my profile and added pictures. After doing this, this is where they get you hook, line and sinker. They have many "canned" email responses that sound a bit classier than the usual on these dating sites. To read some of the messages and access some of the messages, you need to become a paying member, of course, DUH! I paid via PayPal for 90 days because it was so much cheaper than 30 days. I had a live conversation with someone on this site using Live Chat and asked quesetions prior to becoming a paying member. They indicated that I could cancel at any time, so this seemed legit.

The days following, you are able to figure out that most of these messages are canned and probably not from paying members and possibly not from anyone other than the site generating these. This was the irritating factor. Very few people did I actually receive genuine messages from, reported some to be the site via email as inappropriate (and did get email responses back from site regarding my emails and that they would be following up). I was going to go in and cancel my membership and change my PayPal so it would not get "dinged" again, and the site's server appeared to be down (this was over 3 weeks ago now).

I waited a few minutes and kept trying to access the site, to no avail. I thought it might be my Search Engine so I switched from Google Chrome to Firefox to Internet Explorer. At this point, I knew there were problems. Days passed and now weeks. I searched for current on-line reviews regarding this site and am just now seeing current complaints. So, I thought I needed to help and warn others regarding my experience too.

Again, I am very concerned about them charging my account automatically when the 90 days expires, so will be watching this closely.

Signed up on senior soulmates 5 months ago. Instead of deducting one month rate they took a year. I cancelled immediately and received a cancel notice from them and PayPal. In the end they refused to refund. It was a horrible service and I received fake messages and there were a lot of young boys on the site along with obscene messages. Now they have disappeared from the web (right after I finally found someone interesting). They scammed me

I have been asking to first meet him and he keep giving me this long story of why he can't meet me right now but will in due time. He gave me this telephone number that he claims is his cell but when you call it he never picks it up it will allow you to leave a message and at the end of your message when you hit send or the pound sign you will hear thank you for leaving your message on online message center. Within 2 or 3 minute this so call Richard Martell will call you back. I have asked him several times about his phone and why after leaving a message I would hear Thank you for leaving your message on online message center. Richard answer is I really don't know what you are talking about and just chance the subject. This guy Richard has a very heavy either Jamaican or South African Accent but he told me that he was Greek decent. *

I work a lot, as well as I do a lot of traveling from all around the United States to very heavy International travel. Well myPartners took it upon themselve to setup this online dating sites thinking that they were tryig to help me after the death of my 26+ years livein boyfriend. Yes I am and have been having a very hard time of this without him and truly do miss him, so I agree to try this online dating sites called SeniorSoulMates. and I stated receiving messages and photos like right away and I did answered a few but after meeting three of these guys and I would never go out alone I would have my partners to follow me to the restaurant and to keep and eye out if thinks went wrong, but sure enough thinks would go horribly wrong. well the first guy show up late and stated that he lost his wallet and if I coukld pay for the dinner and that he would send or put the money back into my account if I would give him my banking information. well I quickly refuse dinner and I got up and left.

My second date was the next morning for coffee, he showed up late like two hours and once he showed up we started to talk he wanted to know about my company, my partners, where we bank, where I lived and if I lived alone, did I have kids and if so how many and if they stayed with me, the list went on and on, he did pay for coffee as i did not wanted to eat anything, but he did something that was very odd, he asked me if I could drop him off to his bank and then to his house because his car was in the shop. I told him no because I had to be at an appointment shortly. The guy really showed his a*s by yelling and cursing at me, so I got up and I left and drove away with him standing on the sidewalk still yelling and cursing. now I move on to Mr. Richard Martell which I really do not believe that this is his real name and the he live or work in Los Aneles. I say this because of the address and the telphone number he gave me which is an online message taking phone number. he never ever picks up he allow you to leave a message and with in 2 to 3 minutes he will call you back.

I have only been talk well texting or email him back and forth for only two weeks, now he is so heavyly in love with me and wants to get married. This guy Richard Martell speaks with a very heavy either Jamaican or South African accent. When I ask to meet with him face to face he gives me all these reason why he wants to first get to know me by texting or email a few more weeks. I do not feel comfortable talking to Richard as I keep getting this unconformt feeling that he is only scamming or at least trying to scam me. he wanted my address and when I gave it to him which really was my cousin address who is a US Marshall, and yes I did asked him if I could use his address, plkus I have told him a lot about this Richard Martell. When I told Richard that I was telling all of my friends and my family about him he got very upset and told me to not to tell anyone about him that he wanted to surprise them when we meet for the first time and when he also meet them for the first time as well. I again told him that I do not hide anything from my family or friends, but again by me saying this only got him upset and for two days I did not hear from him and then after two days had passed he started, he never calls and I really don't know why but if you call him you will have to leave a message and within 2 to 3 mins he will call you back and will say I can only talk a few minutes as I have a lot of work to get done.

Richard has as of this past Wednesday told me that he wanted to start looking for a house together not in California or Arizona where I live, but that he would have to think about a place where we bout would love to live out our days, and it was at that point that I had to find out more about this Richard Martell from Los Angeles, who is an only child from parents who were Greeks and I can not remember what he told me he did for a living, but he did tell me that he did not have a lot of friends nor family members. I am hoping that this will help other like me to be careful when it comes to those online dating sites.... I have gotten off and I have notified my bank on the one charge of $29.95 in which I wanted them to pull back and put it back into my account as when I contacted SeniorSoulMates.com they were giveing me a very hard time as I was told that they would cancelled my membership and send me an email which I have as of today not received and that I would not received a refund of the $29.95, so I am just going to allow my bank to take over this finance situation with SeniorSouldMates. I would like to be kepted informed of the Investigation outcome. I would like to thank you in advance for all of your help in this matter.

Scam site took my money

This site is nothing bu scam artists. I paid for 3 months about 4-6 weeks ago, and now the site evidently has closed down as I have been unable to sign in for about a week now using 3 different browsers. While being a member, all it is is canned flirts and at first you think you are getting all these messages from real people. I am wondering where to report this to go after a refund and if nothing else, prevent them from recharging me at the end of the 90-day period even though I did pay through my PayPal account. Any suggestions? Thanks

  • Oct 19, 2016

I paid this site for membership and 5 days later their online site had been removed. They don't exist anymore and i am seeking full refund. My bank is taking care of this nonsense.

SeniorSoulMates.com Is a Scam

I signed up for this site for one year and less than six months later their site was down and doesn't work. It is a ripoff. I don't want to sound like Fat Donnie, but most of the women who have responded to me are overweight and unappealing. Caveat emptor as I learned in Latin class: Buyer beware!

  • Sep 10, 2016

Waste of time and money

I thought this site was a good idea for a senior like me but I was wrong. I get several messages each day, all obviously "canned". The matches they find for me never match my criteria and are usually guys who live more than 100 miles away Same for the messages.

Much better luck with Plenty of Fish (pof.com) and it's free.

  • Mar 12, 2016

I joined the dating website, seniorsoulmates.com and only read which was only visible to me that it would be $10 to join for one year which was option 1. There was no where else stating that the total money's would be taken out for the total year once I joined. Which amounted to $119.95. There was an option to unsubscribe but I was told I could not get a refund and I stated to them that I'm on a fixed income and could not afford to have this total payment taken from my account all at once and a representative told me that I could not speak to a supervisor which I had requested and she told me one was not available and that I would not get my money refunded to me.

  • Mar 7, 2016

I received numerous emails from seniorsoulmate.com enticing me to search for my soul mate for about two months. I finally signed up for 6 months and received messages for a short period from various members and when I responded I never got a reply back from ANYONE. After a short period of time I have received no emails AT ALL from seniorsoulmates.com
