We purchased a Easy Climber Chair Lift on 4/20/16. Delivered on 5/25/16. It has broken down 4 times! The Company is in Pa. but the repairmen come from Maine, and we have to wait a week or more to be fixed! There was a 90 day 100% gaurantee for any reason, which is why we bought it and Steve Borgia ( owner ). removed it after I told him that I saw it! He refuses to take it back, and he feels that as long as he fixes it, that we cannot return it. How many times must it break down before he has to give us a refund? The other issue is that we were never made aware that the contract had two sides. The back side had the " additional terms and conditions". that we did not see, nor was it explained to us. As senior citizens, we gave up all our rights!! Mr. Borgia was such a bully to us, my husband is 78 and I am almost 70. This contract we feel was fraud by omission. Mr. Borgia removed the gaurantee that I so depended on, before we decided to purchase it. I took a picture of it before it was removed by him.. Is there anything that can be done to help us? We would really appreciate it. Thank you.
This issue has been resolved with the customer. They absolutely did not waive their rights and they still have a warranty. The product was serviced a long time ago and everything is in working order.
