My dad sought out an alternative approach for cancer treatment. His wife called to explain my dad's medical condition and expectations for treatment and was assured by the customer service person that the Sedona Wellness Center would be able to assist him in reaching his health goals. When he arrived, he was told by the medical professional that due to his cancer being so far advanced and his particular dietary needs not matching the program, that they would be unable to help him. This information came after he traveled from Oregon to Arizona weak and in pain hoping to get the help he needed. He was admitted to the hospital there immediately for severe dehydration and malnutrition and his wife was told to go out to buy him some food from outside the retreat. My dad passed away on March 27th, 2018. They issued a partial refund check which was not delivered to my dad's estate. This in itself is not the Center's problem, but when they were asked, via their customer service representative, to please cancel the check and reissue in my dad's Trust account ( a very simple process), they have refused to comply - even after being sent all requisite documents showing the evidence of Executor and Trustee. Today is July 23rd, 2018 - I have been trying to get this issue resolved since May. The customer service representative for the Center has treated me in an unprofessional and disrespectful way through this process. I am sharing this information so that anyone considering getting treatment from this Center can make their decision with this in mind. I sincerely hope that no one else has to go through what I have had to go through during this time of grief and pain.
