I responded to an offer on Facebook for a free trial of a serum to erase wrinkles and make me look younger for only a $5.95 shipping and processing fee. This included a "cancel at any time" provision of enrollment in the VIP Replenishment Program. When I called to cancel I was told I had to cancel within 15 days of the date of the order. I didn't even have the product at that time. Because I was outside the 15 days, they charged me $79.95 plus another $5.95 shipping and processing fee for the "free" product.

When I realized I had been a victim of a rip-off I felt at least I was entitled to have the double shipping charge refunded but was denied because "they are unable to make any refunds" and when I asked for an explanation, they (Lizzie, employee #8947) became rude and abusive hung up on me. This is widely advertised on the internet so I can only imagine how many others are being ripped off for over $170.00.

SCAM

Not sure if the product works because I'm so far removed from that experience because I too was charged 170.00 and was told the same thing. They just took my money off my credit card. I have returned the product as they told me to for a refund and have yet to received a refund. I call and call the phone number attached to the charge on my credit card and I am left on hold for 23 minutes. This is ridiculous. My next recourse is my credit card company. This is a scam...don't do it. from 5.95 on fb to 170.00 on my credit card. I am very angry!!! I've been telling all of my clients, friends and family to stay away from Secret Serum. I will be on a blog radio show this Friday with the same message. Stay away from Secret Serum.

Bought the trial size (should have known better) and two weeks later I was charged $85 for serum I had not ordered. I caught it right away and had the credit card company remove the charge. The serum itself is unimpressive. DONT FALL FOR THIS>

Rip Off

I too got hooked into a $170 dollar charge after accepting a "free" trial on Facebook! I am soooo angry!!! They did not disclose the cost of the product when I ordered the trial, if they had, I would have NEVER signed up for it. Not to mention the product does not even work!! I called and was told I "checked the box" that stated I would be charged after 15 days, but $170????? I have bills to pay, and that is a lot of money to me. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY....they obviously don't care if you are unaware of the outrageous cost of something that (in my opinion) is crap!

I the advertisement on TV for Secret Serums for the trial but no one ever told me I have to pay $170 for that trial product. I told my bank about it and they credited back my account. Then Secret Serums talked to my bank and my bank reinstated the charge. Now I'm out $170 and I never even used the product. This is clearly a case of false representation on the part of Secret Serums. I am extremely disappointed and poorer for having worked with Secret Serums!

Hello,

We’re sorry that you have had a negative experience with Secret Serums. We take our customer’s satisfaction very seriously, and are continually working on ways to improve our customer service.

We don't advertise Secret Serums on TV, you must have mistaken us for some other skincare products.

As you know, Secret Serums offers a 15 day trial, where you only pay for shipping and processing for a full 30-day supply. By placing an order with us you have agreed to our Terms and Conditions, which enrolls you in the Secret Serums VIP auto-ship program. You haven't cancelled within 18 days and, therefore, you have been charged the full price. However, you have never used it and just charged back in which case we are unable to help.

Secret Serum scam

Charged me $89.41 on my Visa card that I stupidly had given them to pay for the $4.95 shipping of my "free" sample. Would not accept return because I had opened the mailing package NOT the product.

By following protocol on my behalf I called in the week prior to today's call on Aug 16 2016 Tuesday 8.30 a.m. approximately. She advised me I was getting billed because I didn't cancel 2 days as informed . In which I wasn't informed as I continue to explain to her my prior call in the beginning of Aug. The first week. She rudely hung the phone up on me. Not only your wait is about 3 to 5 minutes to speak to someone. I called back requesting to speak to a supervisor..

Basically upon my various attempts contacting Secretserums.Inquiring about a new billing amount in question I got rude Associates and There determination to collect on A product they claim . 15 day trail 2day cancellation required and takes 1 to 2 weeks to arrive. You apparently past due you required cancelation date. They do not inform or even honor all they about. Without any options . No refunds no returns. . No timely manner basically your stuck and ripped off .

Internet Scam, watch out!

Ordered two of their products thinking if would be as "free" samples. Just pay the shipping. That's what the BIG print says! Read the small print and they are gonna charge you for the "trail" quantity AND continue to send you more unless you call and cancel. And they will refuse to refund the money. They got $170 from me. I have no idea if the stuff works or not. But if this is how they do business I'm going to bet it doesn't. Why would a legit company go to such lengths to fool you if they really have a decent product? Stay away from these folks.

Biggest Scam Ever

I also did the link on Facebook for my wife. After getting through a couple of pages, none of which said it was a trial and I would be charged later, I forced as there wasn't anyway to get past the page. There wasn't a confirmation or cancellation, just forced to accept next product so I closed the session. I never received an email or print material stating I was part of a club or that I would be charged $170. I am currently trying to dispute it. This is a fraudulent company that uses deceptive business practices. I am very disappointed. Don't follow these links. I even tried to stop it before it took me too far bit it still charged me anyways. I never even made it through the entire process and still got charged. What a bunch of losers. If there product is good, then why the deception?

My credit card was charged $170 plus $5.95 twice the same day it ship free trial.

A scrip was used every time I called for help. No one will identify company name, or location. I have never done any business with internet product that won't allow you to return product.

This company is a RIP OFF!!! Dont buy anything from this internet company. They are liar and cheaters.

I ordered what I thought was a trial in July, one time offer, from Secret Serums. To my astonishment today, August 27, I received 2 more containers in the mail for $170, over 5 times of the initial trial offer. When I called to say I did not want this and was not aware of ever subscribing to this and it was a scam, I was told it was a trial and anytime people sign up for this on the Internet it is never a scam but a trial. I was also told that this was all my fault because I did not read the boxes I check carefully enough as I had signed up to receive this monthly! When I said I wanted to return it I was told I could not because I opened the package. You must be kidding-but,she said said this is their company policy! Why not seal the containers so it is obvious upon return I never opened it. Call it a Trial-it is a Major Scam!

I saw a promotional ad on Facebook advertising a free trial for their skin cosmetics company name secret serum. The ad said nothing about a ten day dead line to return the product if not satisfied. I was billed the shipping cost for three products and found my skin was sensitive to them so stopped using. My account was charged 170.00 for this product immediately and found out when I called secret serums said you didn't send it back after ten days unopened. How can anyone try a unopened product. I called credit cacard company and was told there were two charges of 170.00 for another order on the way which I was able to send back unopened and received credit for that one. This company hides the information about their return policy very hidden on several pages into their ad. I know why now they call this company Secret serum My credit card company was unable to get my first 170.00 back and I was charged this outrageous amount for a free trial Do not fall for free, buyer beware Madge fl

I ordered the trial size for $3.95. Called the company within the 15 days to say I didn't want the product any more, and then they charged my credit card for $89.41 for the 1oz. trial size!!! We called them again and Nathaniel was very nasty and refused to refund the charge. Said I didn't call. My credit card company got them on the line and he offered them a 50% refund and I said no. I told him I would return the whole bottle but he said you cannot return it if you open it. Well, how are you going to know if you like it or not if you don't open it. This company is a rip off and I hope you all learn from me not to order their product. The bottle is a 1 oz. trial size and they charge you $89.41. Researching this, I found a ton of other complaints just like mine where some were charged $170 on the day they order the trial size for just shipping alone. Do not order this product.

What a ripoff. The agreed price for a trial product was $3.95 and they charged my debit card for 89.14 and they claim that I did not cancel the order within 15 days. The product did not have anything on it or paper work that says so. Called the 1-800 number and spoke with a customer representative by the name of Teanna. She stated that she could refund %75 of the cost and then quickly changed it to %50. As I told her it was illegal to remove money from my account. She stated it was legal becuase I had not cancelled with in the 15 days. I spoke with my bank and they said once it came out of pending then for me to call the fraud section. They had to cancel my husband's debit card and now has to send him a new one.

I ordered a trial sample of perfect skin anti-aging serum on 4-10-17 via internet

It arrived 14 days later on 4-24-17

They had included a bottle of exfoliant for $19.95, that I did not order!

I was in the hospital when it finally arrived on 4-23-17. When I opened the package on 5-4-17, I immediately called the company to cancel future orders and get the charge for the exfolient removed. I spoke to Patrick, a customer rep, who assured Me the charge for $19.95 would be removed from my card.( it was) I then asked if this had been placed on autoship, when he said yes, I asked to be removed from this. I asked him if I needed to return the product aand was told no, just throw it away!

When I recieved my card statement, I discovered I had been charged $89.41 for this trial sample. I contacted customer service, who told me that I had to cancel and return the product before day 15 (4-24-17). This would have been impossible, since it did not arrive until the 4-23-17. Mark, the customer rep was very curt and I asked to speak with a supervisor. He said there was nothing a supervisor could do and I repeated that I wished to speak to a supervisor. He then Hung Up on me! The next day I called again and was told that there was no supervisor that I could speak with. He reiterated that the charge was for the"trial sample, because It was not returned unopened within 15 days!

This company is a SCAM! Delayed shippment so that it would be impossible to return under the dates imposed

DO Not order from them!!!

Secret serums free trial offer is a scam.

The advertisement i bought from stated pay only shipping and receive a free sample of "anti aging treatment" and "instant line filler". There was no mention in the ad of a 15 day trial period after which you would be charged $176.81 per month from now on until you cancelled the "membership.

15 days after i sent in my $5.95 for shipping of the "free" products my credit card was charged $89.81 for the anti-aging treatment and $87.00 for the instant line filler. And if i haden't picked up on it my card would have been charged $89.81 and $87.00 every month from now on until i cancelled my "membership".

This is an obvious scam. I have reported the company to the better business bureau and have seen countless outscamcomplaining of the same scam going back to march 2016.

And yet, this company is being allowed to continue this ongoing scam.

What is really absurd is that i wasn't even allowed to block the company from making any future charges against my credit card because they have somehow gotten on a list of merchants that master card is not allowed to block. I had to cancel my credit card and get a new credit card under a new account number to keep them from making future charges against my account.

If you have a decent product you don't have to trick people into buying it ongoing month after month without their knowledge.

This company's advertising and billing practices fall just above the line of legal, but are purposely very deceptive.

I was pulled in by the lure of a free sample. It was clear that I had to pay $4.95 S&H fee, but once I put in my credit card info, it shifted to another screen advertising another product, then another. It locks you in with out you having a way to edit your cart. As you proceed thinking you can edit your cart and view an order summary at the end, but when you get to the end it has already charged your card for more items "at a discount". I accepted this as my poor judgment, but then I never received an email receipt. A week after the package arrived my card was charged again for astronomical unauthorized amount!

Supposedly had 15 days to try it, but they start the 15 days when you order it, not receive it! Then on the 15th day there was a charge of $176 to my account! I called and the man was very condescending to me, stating that it was in bold print when it was ordered that it was from date of order. I would have noticed that I think. So, instead, I am out $176 for a product that DOES NOT WORK. SCAM!!!

I click on the link went to website for "free trial" had to pay shipping only so I clicked on the icon then up comes another free product pay shipping only. Once I did that I should have paid less than $15, suddenly another product comes up, they all ready have my infomation did not see any way to cancel the order. Ended up costing me about $35.

Find you today they have charged another $176.41 to my account.

I do not know where the information was on the site that they would be charging me any more money.

I ordered a skincare trial online. The trial indicated that it would only cost $5.95. I received my two small containers of product then my credit card was charged two separate charges of $89.81 and $87.00 on the same day. When i contacted the customer service # listed on my credit card bill, i was told that i agreed to it under the terms and agreement. Nowhere did i ever see a terms and agreement. I asked that my money be refunded and was told that it could not be because i didn't cancel within two days of placing the order. I was assured that i would no longer be billed as their practice is to automatically bill every 30 days but that i could dispute the charges with corporate however i would be wasting my time to do so. I was further told that i could not be connected to corporate and that they would call me back. I told the representative that this was unacceptable and that their advertising was a scam. I further told him that i was reporting this to the outscam and better business bureau. He then hung up on me. Do not trust this company as it is part of a scam!

I ordered two free trial samples for $5.00 each. Received the two samples. A few weeks later, my credit card had been charged $87.00, a charge which I did not authorize. I called Customer Service, and the representative told me that she would have to send my request for a 50% refund. When I questioned the refund of 50%, an email popped up on my computer, with the following information: This is to inform you that your order of My Instant Line Filler - 15 Day Trial has been cancelled. I asked the rep. if she had just sent me an email, and she said that she had. I asked if this would cancel any future orders or free trial samples from Secret Serum, but she did not answer. We were disconnected.

I said it is phony it doesnt work I will send both bottles back and she says no, no and was rude. I thought she said Merissa was her name but it could have been Clarissa.

I ordered this as an add come on tv said use free, try it well I tried it and I think it is a joke...a secret serum, you ought to b e ashamed of yourselves. I received my credit card bill and was charged 89.81 on 2-28-2017 for a new bottle received on 3-5-2017 and I dont want either of them. I gave credit card number to handle shipping and handling and they said product was worth 49.81. Well, they charged me 89.41.

Well, this girl, Merissa, or Clarissa, was rude, said nothing she could do....I said I would send both back and she says no we cant do that...please make sure my account is cancelled....this stuff felt like egg whites on your face. Yech! I am ashamed of services they allow people to distribute.

I called Secret Serums customer service #. I told the young lady on the phone I wanted to return the unwanted products and I told her I want a refund. She asked me if I opened the package. I told her "yes" I opened the package. "How else was I supposed to know what was in the package?" She told me its company policy that I can't return the poduct if the package has been opened. She said she would remove me from the list and I shouldn't receive any more. I told her that this is rediculas. I oened the package because I didn't know what was inside. How else was I supposed to know what was in the package. She simply stated again that its company policy that they don't except returns when the package is opened. I asker her if there was another number I can call to complain. She said that this is the only number the company has. I asked her if the company is with the BBB. She paused and she said that she didn't know. I told her again that I don't want the product and that this is a rip off and I want my refund. She was quiet and didn't say another word.

I went onto the BBB and Secret Serums C/O GLF is not registered. I couldn't find anything using the database.

I do not want the My Secret Anti-Againg Treatment and I do not want the My Instan Line Filler. I purchased a sample of the product for $5.95. I did not sign up for a VIP membership to receive the product monthly. I feel strongly that this a scam and a complete rip off.

I do not understand how it can be leagal to trap me into purchasing this product. I can't return the product because I opened the packeage it arrived in. How else am I supposed to know what was in the package? I feel this is entrapment and unexceptable. If this a good product and/company they shouldn't force purchases. I want the $176.41 refunded. I want to send the unwanted product back. I ordered a probiotic and I was waiting for it to arrive in the mail. I opened the package expecting it to contain the probiotics.

I received the trial products on Jan 12. The first time that I tried the products on the same day I already know I do not like them. Their claim that Secret Srums MY SECRET ANTI-AGING TREATMENT™* and MY INSTANT LINE FILLER™* "Won't flake or ball up" is clearly not true. I followed the instructions to the letter and it pille don my skin so bad. It left a sticky residue and needed to be rinsed off to get rid of all the balled up products on my face.

Today (Jan 23) I got charged for another 30-day supply. When I called, the rep on the phone with me (Natasha) was no help at all. [continued below]....

Called customer service on Jan 23 and was told by rude representative that he would cancel the trial and would contact corporate for 25% refund. He also said he did not have a # to give for corporate office so that I could contact myself. So basically I have been charged almost $200 for a product I never received nor tried. This is definitely a scam! I gave these people my hard earned money for nothing! I will also be contacting my lawyer to see if anything can be done about this ripoff of a company! Also I emailed them because when I tried to contact someone with a little less rude customer service skills was on hold for 10 minutes with no one ever picking up. When I emailed first time to secretserums .com I received a return email that it did not exists! Very Angry! *

This scam started from a facebook page. I believed I was trying a "Trial size" container in which I would be charged $5.95. I place my information and when I clicked order another so called opportunity popped up to enhance the first products results with an additional product that was also a "trial size", for an additional shipping charge which I agreed to. The products arrived about 1 week later and were 1fl oz in size. And came with no other paperwork other than the orderform.. There was no mention of how to cancel or that this was the "full size" product or anything else. Certainly no paperwork stating that this was a reoccurring monthly subscription or that the charge to my credit card would be some $170 each month.. When I recieved my monthly Card statement and did my usual reconciliation I noticed the two charges one for $87.11 and another for $85. I immediately called the number given, and was told that I had agreed to pay this for the full sized products and that all information had been disclosed in the Terms & Agreement section of the transaction. I told them that that was not true or I would not have ordered such an expensive product sight unseen. Since the products have not been opened I requested a return authorization to which the reply was that there was no return policy and once the mailing packaging is opened the product is unreturnable. I have requested a full refund of the amount charged on my card. I also told them I would not accept any further "samples" and that I would file complaints with any and all facilities possible. This is the first of such filings.

Yes, some scam.....

I was reading something on FaceBook about why Ellen DeGeneres was leaving her show and clicked on a link responding to a free trial with shipping of less than $5.00. Something was added to my order that I did not order but it was removed. I just received my trial order and noticed I was automatically enrolled in a 30 day VIP program. There was no mention of anything like this when I filled out the order. I tried calling to cancel as I don't want anything to do with that but can't even get someone to answer the phone. Some 24 hours a day, 7 days a week 800 number !! How are you supposed to cancel within 15 days when you receive the order so late and then no one answers the phone? I have sent them an email and can only hope.....

I wish I had seen all of these responses before placing my original order.

I had seen a free trial for beauty products through Facebook on a couple occasions. I decided to try one cause it was free except for shipping! Well a few weeks later I was charged almost $100 for this product. I called company and they said it was past date to get a refund but they would send to corporate. They said there was no way for me to contact corporate and they don't do any emails. Just if they decide to refund you they will and If not they won't! I don't know any reputable company that does this! I was told that in the terms these charges were clearly stated which they were not! Again they should have been in my package, but nope! They told me it was my responsibility to remember! Again, bad business and another way they are running this scam.

The product was nothing special that you could get at a drug store. I know it's part my fault for clicking a free offer, but the customer service is rediculous and this company needs to be shut down. They are scamming people out of money and selling a product which is crap! It's quite rediculous when you can't even get an email from corporate to say why you aren't being refunded! I called a day or two later than my supposed trial period! Clearly if they wanted my business they could have worked with me! I just think they are running a scam and I don't want others to be scammed! The Facebook ad runs from a sephora trails so you think it's reputable but it's not! I'm sure there are many other products in this same scam. But if you see secret serums the secret is they steal your money!! Beware!

I ordered My Secret Anti-Aging Treatment & Line Filler from this company for a traial price of $4.95 each. Nothing was in their ad about having 15 days from order date to cancel or you will get billed full price. I only get mail once a week & when I got it I used it for a couple of days & relized I was allergic to it, my eyes where so itchy I had to stop using it. I called the compay the next day to tell them & the woman I talked with said to bad you didn't call within the 15 days. They also had taken 89.41 for aging treatment & $87.00 for line filler out of my bank account before I could even try it. This company I thought was safe because it was on Shark Tank, Just another way to rip people off. I work full time just to pay for health insurance & co-pays on all the medications I take. I've had to move in with my son & his family so I can't afford to have money taken out of my account. Guess I just won't get any medicines for the next month.

I ordered a beauty regimen with the intent to only buy one time. I am now being charged a monthly fee of 100.00 for items I do not receive or want.

I was given a free offer as a reward of 2 skin serums: my instant line filler, my secret anti-aging treatment there was no cost at all, except for shipping/handling. Today, 7/15/17, i have a pending amount in my account for $79.99 and i have no idea what it's about. The transaction information is very vague: description: skinenchantment. With numbers attached to it which are insignificant to my account information.

I'm not sure why my bank would have let it get into my account. Everything about the transaction is foreign to my account. With my high security bank, it puzzles me as to how these criminals get right past them. I did a google search for skin enchantment and came up with nothing but toys. I finally found outscam with enchant serums and notice the information was referring to secret serums. All of the information is misleading.

On 3/27/17 I responded to advertisement on facebook via Shark Tank episode in regard to never wear makeup again, Secret Serums anti-aging treatment for 15-Day Trial for $5.95. Upon entering information to receive I noticed after submitting credit card information that I was charged for $31.50 for an addition of Instant Line Filler and an exfoliating cleanser. I received this product(s) several days later and thought i had 15 days to try it but apparently the 15 days started when they shipped it. I had forgoa long discussion tten about the trial period and wasn't aware that on 4/17/17 my credit card had been charged $176.41 for this.

I received nothing until 5/22/17 another package was received and opened with Anti-Aging Treatment and Instant Line Filler in it. There was a statement which said "This is not a bill - no payment required. Your order has been shipped complete." Price was $176.41 ($89.41 for Anti-Aging Treatment and $87.00 for Instant Line Filler) and I checked with my bank and had been charged this amount again.

I called5/22/17 to the 800 number and finally got to speak to an agent. After a lengthy discussion she said she would contact Corporate Headquarters for a refund. She explained nothing further about the refund and said they had up to 60 days to do something. Her name was Matashia (sp?) agent #4938. Call ended and I was not happy about it so I called back. Not sure who I spoke with, they stated something about only 50% of amount charged would be refunded. I was told since I opened it that an RMA number would not been given for returns.

Upon looking at information on paper that was sent with this it gives information at bottom in very small, fine print about Product Cancels/Returns/Refunds and Cancel of 15-Day Trial after shipment, may not be returned. Says all returns must be un-opened; fulfillment will examine the return before issuing a refund. All returns must have RMA number, please call Customer Service @1800-474-8947. returns marked "Return to Sender" will not be eligible for a refund. Manufacgturer/Marketer will not pay shipping on returns items. All returns may be subject to re-stocking fee.

I called again at 3:28p on 5/24/17and was told there was a dispute by me and they could not talk with me. I said who said "dispute filed with my bank" they stated Nathaniel put this and they could listen to it. I said I had not filed dispute with bank and repeatedly asked for supervisor and was told they were in meeting. She said to call back in an hour and hung up on me. It was an hour later when I called and should be out of meeting and they would not give me a supervisor, said they were trained same way they were and they could/would handle my call. I told them I was reporting them to FCC and Better Business Bureau and hung up. So now I am out $31.80, and $176.41 and $176.41 from my bank account.

I am a senior receiving Social Security only. This is not only a scam/ripofff but a disgrace to the American consumer. I fell for it and didn't respond in time to cancel. How can a company not expect you to open your mail? I have never heard of such hyprocisy....Please stop this company.

  • May 22, 2017

Will not accept return of new unused product because I opened the envelope the package came in. Company states that no returns are given if package is opened. How is one so know what is in the envelope. States on invoice you can not return but invoice is in envelope. After calling twice, they finally said they would send my request to corporate for a 50% refund.

  • Dec 23, 2016

Secret Serums sent two products to me that I did not order.

I returned the product to the company with a return receipt requested and received it signed by their employee. The company notified me that they would return half of my charge, which would be $92.65, and they kept $92.65.

However, I now have no product and they have $92.65 of my money. I have contacted the company and they only respond that Corporate made the decision and they had no way of contacting them and wouldn't give me a number for their Corporate offices.

I responded to a facebook offer for a "free" trial of some facial lotion that was supposed to help with facial lines & wrinkles. I received the product, and it did not do anything! then i see a charge fro $170 from my bank account...Wtf? They did not disclose the cost of the product when i requested the trial, if they had, i would not have even ordered it!! then i call them to get a refund and the guy tells me he will have to request it from corporate, but i checked the box to automatically get future orders...At that price?? I have bills to pay, and that is a lot of money to me! what a rip off!!!!!!!!! they should better disclose the terms, and the price upfront so consumers can make an informed decision. Shame on this company for ripping people off...This makes me soooooooo angry!

  • Nov 23, 2016

Agree with all the other reviews. This is a total SCAM!

Stay away! Stay away! Stay away! I bought their products for a trial, did not receive them for a month, and then I couldn't get them canceled without the help from Visa. They charged me for the original products plus another $170 for products I never received. As you see from the above company response, they keep saying the same thing. Obviously, they don't care anything about their customers. I never tried the product, so I don't know if it is any good. They definitely have a terrible, dishonest marketing plan.

If you are on Facebook, you can leave a review on their site. That way more people will see it: https://www.facebook.com/search/top/?q=secret%20serums

SCAM

Company's customer service is a joke. I've been hung up on twice when trying to get refund. Cannot get any info on the company. When ordering the product we had numerous problems getting the order to go through. It ended up adding an additional product to the order. Do not buy this product!

  • Nov 15, 2016

Do not fall for this! yes, you get a little bottle for $5.95, but what i didn't realize is that they would start sending more automatically for an exhorbitant price. I've been on the phone for a half hour, being told "you'll be connected with the next available operator."

Okay, just got connected. Lizzie says i have contacted them in the appropriate time period and they will send no more serum and not bill me. We will see!

I ordered what was billed as a trail offer of Secret Serums anti-aging product. Soon I received two packages from the company. I opened the first one. I immediately called the company, and told them I hadn't ordered any additional product, and wished to return it for a refund. Talked to Arno & got a confirmation number. He said company policy prohited their giving refunds if the package was opened. Since I hadn't opened the product that didn't sound right to me. When the second package arrived, I didn't open it. Arno said I would get an e-mail in a few days from the company. I waited a week, and rhen took both packages to the post office. The unopened one the post office said I could write"Return to Sender" on, but the resealed one I readdressed and paid the postage. My credit card was charged $92.65 twice. When thecompany did send me an e-mail. They said they would credit me $23.00 for what , I don't know. Never had been a victim of such a fraud, and couldn't believe Ellen would associate herself with such a company!

I ordered a free sample of secret serum, had to pay 4.95 for shipping and they took $85 out of my account. Said it was a 14 day free trail however within 3 days of receiving they expenses my account. Operator said it instructs that on fb which they do not! fucking ripoffs! anyone want to file a class action lawsuit with these assholes?

  • Oct 22, 2016

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS, I WOULD!!!!!! PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS SCAM!!!!!!! THEY DO NOT EXPLAIN THE TERMS WELL, AND THEN CHARGE YOU $170.00 FOR IT. PLEASE, PLEASE BE AWARE AND DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!

  • Oct 19, 2016

I saw an ad on the Internet for Christie Brinkley's anti-aging cream. They were offering a free trial for $4.95 shipping Charge only. While I was placing my order, a pop-up appeared for another product which was $5.95. I did not click on that product. I went to the next screen . Another pop-up appeared for $24.95. Again I did not click on it. When I got to check out, I was charged for all three items for a total of $36.95. There was no way for me to delete the items that I did not order. I called the phone number at the bottom of the website. It was an incorrect phone number to a totally different company.

I emailed customer service several times, advising them that it was an incorrect order. When I finally heard from them they had already mailed the order and would not refund my money or allow me to Return it because it had been opened. How ridiculous! I put in a dispute at my bank with the credit card company. I was only able to get $15.95 of my money returned. My banker called secret serum's. They were adamant that they would not return my money because the box had been opened and the product had already been shipped. Secret Serums has very very poor customer service. They are devious. Do not be ripped off by this company!!! Phyllis, Lithonia, Georgia

Automatic charges to credit card

I responded to their introductory offer of $5.95 and received the facial scrub along with 1oz of My Secret Anti-aging Treatment and 1oz of My Instant Line Filler. I was checking my Credit Card account a month later and I noticed 2 charges of $85.00 for each the 1oz containers. By this time it had been exactly 1 month and another two charges of $85 each appeared on my credit card. I ended up being charged a total of $340.00. Customer service told me to send the latest shipment back once I received it. I assumed a return label would be included. Wrong. They were so misleading with respect on how to avoid being charged. This is the biggest scam I've ever experienced. I wish I had done more research. The 'secret serum' is probably nothing short of simple hand lotion. Their website states *individual results may vary...another words, it doesn't work.

This is a scam company

These people are thieves. I have ordered a sampler and a few days later they charged me $170 and the company told me that I had only 15 days to decide on the product and if I don't call to cancel they will charge me the full price on the sampler that they have already charged me on and when I ask to talk to a supervisor they hung up on me. Please be aware of these scam artists companies that they do not give you what you ask for they don't give you any explanation of why the Chargers where on my card and they have zero customer service. I wouldn't pay a penny for a gallon of this BS and I would recommend this company not even to my worst enemy. The product sucks and the company is even worse. Do not fall for these thieves on what they promise you. Even if I could put zero star on the rating I would have.
