Do not go there ever. He is very rude when it comes to listening and people skills not jis specially (I am sure optometry is either) I went in to get a report for the DMV all he had to do was test vision and write down the results on the form. Take my money and I would be gone.
He did not have to say that he gives permission for me to drive (THAT IS THE DMV.S JOB) They base my renew on his exam and write down the results. The DMV requires with doctor note better than 20/100 and I have better than that.
He in his own opinion without looking at me and after I told him 5 years ago I got my last doctors note with a 20/70 vision AND GOT MY LICENSE he said that I could not drive period and he would not fill out the form. It is not his right to JUDGE ME just based on me telling him I have 20/70 vision (Which would still qualify under CA law)
I explained that it the form IS NOT AN OK TO DRIVE that he fills out, only a results form IS NOT AN OK TO DRIVE that he fills out, only a results form based on several different exams. BUT HE WOULD NOT LISTEN AND YELLED AT ME THAT IS WRONG I am not
I and my dad (who has 20/70 vision too) have been driving without accidents for many many years my dad is 70 and I am 41 and no accidents since both started driving around age 18
I will just go to another eye doctor wh will do their job and examine me and write down the results. Sounds easy right?
