Bought a top of the line Kenmore refrigerator in 2015 along with a Extended warranty through 2017. Had numerous problems with fridge (Ice in cooling department, rust, cracked shlves, unnatural expansion, door creaking, etc.) Had two repair vists. The final repairman told me that the unit is defective and it would cost more to fix then replace and to wait for Sears to contact me. Sears never called. I ended up calling them NINE times over a three week period. Each time they gave me the run-around and told me that a supervisor would contact me. They never did. I have a log with the names and dates of all the peopel I spoke with. Each time I called they acted like it was the first time and would transfer me around. I wasted so much time and money on this and still have a broken fridge. DO NOT BUY FROM SEARS! They do not stand by their products nor do they stand by the extended warranty ($166 for one year cost).
