If you have any other choice besides Seabourne Airlines, take the other choice. Especially between San Juan and St Maarten.
They just don't seem to care about being on time. The planes are old, they are often late to depart, the ground shuttles they operate are disorganized, overcrowded, slow and dirty. They lost my luggage and made me miss my connecting flight. This company is just the epitome of dis-organization
We were to take a trip of a lifetime to Tortella BVI. Because of Hurricane IRMA.....out boat was destroyed and we are unable to travel to this beautiful area. We need to cancel our trip. However Seaborne Airlines will NOT provide us with a refund. They state they will only give us a credit voucher. Out of the 5 of us we are unable to make this trip at a future date and are in need of a full refund. This was a natural disaster - which our boat was destroyed. We maybe able to return at some point in time but cannot guarantee this. This is seriously rediculous that Seaborne Airlines (via Travelocity) will NOT return our payment. We paid 5 people at $985 so almost $5000. It is no fault of ours that we have had to cancel this trip. This Company is a RIP OFF.
My return flight from St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands was cancelled by Seaborne Airlines due to Hurricane Irma. (All of my 5 other flights going to and from St. Thomas were fully refunded by American and United Airlines because of the natural disaster.) Only Seaborne Airlines refused to refund my flight and offered a credit for use in one years's time. I contacted Customer Relations at Seaborne Airlines and the individual who responded to my email request cited a "Force Majeure Event" policy indicating Hurricane Irma is (was) "not an inconvenience caused by the airline." Therefore, my ticket would not be refunded. I responded to this email with a request to forward my email to a higher management level for review. I am currently waiting for a response to this request. I have all th email correspondence on this issue and would gladly forward it to you.
