I ordered my Scribble Stylus recently in December. Somebody got an email from the company themselves and it said that all Scribble Pens and Styluses will be arriving in June/July of 2019. It is almost the end of June 2019 now and I still haven't yet recieved my Scribble Stylus! The money I have paid for the 'stylus' is probably going to go towards manufacturing a real Scribble Pen or Stylus but I don't think this is going to happen until like mid to late 2020s (I think that's when REAL Scribble Pens and Styluses are going to be around). But until then, it's probably a scam!
I pre-ordered the scribble pen on 11/22/2016 after my manager, a creative director sent an email to our whole team telling us all about it and how he just pre-ordered his. After a month, I emailed customer support asking where my pen was. They sent me to some tracker page on their site and asked me to in put my address, so I did. After another month of nothing I was angry and felt tricked so I emailed them again, this time asking them to cancel my order and refund my money. This was before they updated their site to include their awful terms of service that basically tells you they will take your money and never return it. So, the responded saying they will refund my money, it takes 30 days. After another month of nothing,
I emailed them nonstop, demanding my money, trying to get a response but at this point they just directed me to their BS terms of service. A few months go by and I reached out to them again, this time getting no response. I tried to dispute this with my bank and with PayPal, both unsuccessfully since I had waited too long. So now I'm out $264. I have no idea how many people fell for this scam, how much money they've stolen or how they're able to so easily get away with this - but their site is still up, and they're still accepting payment from unsuspecting victims... someone needs to shut them down. I complained to the BBB and filed a complaint with FBI.. both dead ends. I hope someone is able to bring these horrible people down.
June 1st I became aware of Scribble Pen. They claim that they can detect any color and reproduce it either in an ink pen or in their mobile app. On their website it claimed there was only one day left to pre-order at 50% off so I ordered. Received an email saying thanks, and that they'd ask me for my shipping address later. More research the next day and I've found that this "company" has been around since 2015 and that they've never sent anyone anything, ever. So I returned to the website and it STILL said there was one day left to pre-order so I emailed them to cancel. They directed me to their poorly worded terms of service that pretty much said they didn't have to send me anything. So I reported them to the BBB (which they'll probably ignore), the FBI, consumer reports and now here. I've also disputed the transaction with my credit card. I just want to put this out there so no one else orders with this company because you won't get anything. I also reported their website to the company that hosts their page too.
