In 2010 this club/business accepted my money but did not carry through with my magazine subscription, field test trials, free gifts etc. I have not heard from them in years.
This was a very long frustrating process to the point where I would just give up. Now I am finding out, a long with who knows how many people, I HAVE BEEN SCAMMED!!!!!! This is just down right dirty, immoral taking people's hard earned money. What can we do? Where do we go to find this Scout.com?
I patted for a life time membership to The Handyman Club for my wife. She loves working with wood. I noticed (a little late) that I had stopped receiving their Magazine as promised. I joined The National Home Gardening Club for both of us. We find it relaxing working with plants, flowers, etc. Again (a little late) I noticed I wasn't receiving their monthly magazine. I called the respective numbers for these entities and got the, "This number is no longer in service." This is so wrong on many levels.
I entered a scout fantasy football $35 starter league and won a $200 prize. In addition I had. $15 prize from 2015. I have sent the required w9 form and a signature guarantee on 2 different occasions in the last 2 months. This information is on my scout player dashboard. They have not responded to my emails.
I signed up with Scout Fantasy Football before the start of the Football season. After I signed up and paid the $35 fee, I tried to draft a team. However, each time they were not organized to provide opportunities to join a team. Each time I tried, only one or two others were ready so they had to keep canceling the teams. Finally, the season started and I never could join a team.
On there website they have a withdrawal feature where you can apply to get your money back. I applied and the site said someone would get back to me. No person ever got back to me. They don't make it easy to contact them. After three times, I gave up.
I think this is a scam or at the very least an intentional approach to keep people's money even though they didn't provide the services they should have.
Very frustrating! Avoid Scout Fantasy Football at all costs.
