I was hired by Dan Abraham to write grants for his start up company "Scoupons"
I did my job and he refused to pay me. I took him to small claims court and won my judgement but he has still refused to pay.
I have learned that the participating retailers he advertised are not involved with Scoupons, it is a scam.
I have had to put up with his foul language and his bragging on how he has scammed his mortgage company. I have saved all the texts and emails he has sent me reguarding this.
Dan Abraham opens companies and after he has milked them he shuts them down. He projects them as being non profit and of course they are not.
He owes me $1,125.00 plus court costs and interest.
This woman is a liar and a fraud. I hired Jan Kyper to write grants and paid her a deposit of $1,250.00. She never produced a single grant proposal or a single grant and has been trying to extort me for the balance. She got a bogus judgement out of Lafayette Small Claims Court which had no jurisdiction and should never have heard the case. The judge stated that she knew nothing about grants or grant writing and should have sent the case to District Court. Instead she ignorantly ruled for Jan Kyper that we pay the balance on worked she never performed. I filed a claim against the judge with the Louisiana Judiciary Committee but never heard anything back from them other than they would take it up with the judge. Typical!
I will never pay this woman regardless of how she tries to extort me and my company. She is a liar and defrauded us.
We currently have an A+ rating with the BBB and all of our venues are under contract. Kyper is delusional and has no idea of how we conduct business. BEWARE of THIS WOMAN. She takes your money assuring you that she can get you grant money and never delivers! We are certified as an Entrepreneurial Business by La, Department of Economic Development and are in good standing with the Secretary of State. If she had anything of value I would sue her for slander and libel but she has nothing.

I contracted Jan Kyper 3 years ago to write grants for us. She new we were a for profit company and she insisted that she could get us hundreds of thousands of dollars in grants to promote our program. She lied. When we entered the contract and paid her a 50% deposit she assured us that she would provide all grant request and grantors to be approached for our review to be sure we met the grant requirements.... much like a legal brief. She never provided a single completed grant request nor any info on any grantors! When confronted she dodged the issue and never complied.
After months of being harassed by Kyper through texts, emails and phone calls, I did you make it very clear that she was never going to get another dime. He small claims action with a sympathetic judge who proclaimed she was ignorant of grants and the grant process, was ridiculous. The case should have been heard in District Court which handles business contracts, not this female Judge Roy Bean. I subsequently filed for disciplinary action against the judge but you can imagine how far that went!
Kyper is delusional. I never scammed any mortgage company. I sold my house 1 1/2 years ago and paid off the mortgage. And I do not open companies and milk them. Scoupons is owned by Save More Network, LLC which was created in 2012. We are finally launching a program in Baton Rouge to help raise money for various causes. We raised the necessary marketing funds and are finally ready to roll. Kyper was suppose to assist in raising these funds through the grants she was to obtain. Her failure and deception cost us a great deal of time. And now she attempts to extort us through these libelous posts! She is a liar and a fraud. Further investigation shows that she was a party planner/caterer... never a grant writer. She is a fraud.
I will never pay her another dime. She got $1,250 of our money and delivered nothing other than aggravation and harassment. Beware of this woman and spread the word. Save yourself the money and aggravation.
