I have dropped the price at $1.200 (including delivery to your home address) because my husband died 2 month ago and it brings me bad memories and that's the reason I want to sell it a.s.a.p. I need to sell the camper before next week, when I will be leaving the country for a year on military duty along with my medical team. I do not want to store it and lose more because of devaluation.

i think somthing needs to be done about this. i always look up people before proceeding with conversation and making deals. i am USAF and her name did not come up under global. tryed facebook and then google search which lead me to here. i will proceed with reporting the ad.

Text and called asking if truck was still available and got this reply-" Hi,please reply to [email protected] for the 94 Toyota Pickup. I've listed the car for her. Ty." So I emailed her and asked about the truck and this was the responds I received " Hi there,
I'm happy to see you are interested in my 1994 Toyota Hilux Pickup Extended Cab 3.0 v6 Auto 4x4. This truck has been very well taken care of and has super low miles at just under 64,400. Interior is in near mint condition with the exception of a spliit in bottom of drivers seat due to thin vinyl coming apart from sitting in it. Out side it is in great shape as well one small ding over driver rear fenderwell. Runs and drives like new not a rattle box very tight. I have a clean and clear title under my name in hand for it. The truck belonged to my husband, he loved very much and took very good care of it... but, he passed away 4 months ago in a car accident... The final price is $1,500.00. I don't want to make a business out of this and also I'm trying to sell it quickly, before 31th of this month when I'm leaving to Syria with the U.S. Convoy for 1 year contract, so please try to understand my situation.

And her reply was "Thank you very much for getting back to me and I would like to clarify some things first. Right now I'm Fort Riley base in North Central Kansas, on the Kansas River. We are training, getting ready for leaving the country. The vehicle is here with me and you get free delivery, cause someone agreed to buy it, but in the end he did not get the loan. For this reason, the shipping is paid. You get free delivery, at your place in 2-3 days with all the papers. I am a member of the Apple Pay Insurance! If you are not aware of this program, you should know that it will allow you to test drive and inspect the truck before have your money. The inspection period will be set to 5 days and I think is enough for you to make a decision about the truck. If you are interested, please include in the next email your contact information for Apple Pay (full name, shipping address and phone number), so I can ask them to send you the details on this deal. Then you will be able to talk on the phone with them and ask anything you want to know..

I then knew something wasn't right. And I emailed her back "I thought it says the vehicle is in dalton? Why don't u sell it in the area u are? "
And she said "The vehicle was advertised on other states, to get more exposure and sell it faster."

There was a 1997 Toyota T100 pick up advertised on craigslist. The phone number listed was 540-602-5234. We called and left a message. We received an email stating he had listed the truck for a friend and gave the email address as sclaire121. I sent a message to this address. I received a response back she was a Sgt. Medic in the army. She was in Ct., at a National Guard base being preped for deployment to Japan for 1 year. She stated the truck had belonged to her late husband, he died 2 months ago in a tragic auto accident. We had several emails back and forth.
She advised me she would take caremof shipping the truck through ebay motors. I spoke with them several times through emails. I was instructed to buy 3 green dot cards and load $500.00 dollars each on them. The price of the truck as advertised was $1500.00. This we did. Ebay motors then instructed me to take pictures of the front and back of the cards as well as the receipt of purchase and forward it to them. They then confirmed receipt of this. I was then contacted back by Claire telling me she would be contacting me in 1-2 hours with the shipping information. About 2 hours later I received an email from her stating a carrier had been secured and the truck would be delivered to my home on Monday. This all took place on Saturday, July 30, 2015. When the truck did not arrive on Monday or Tuesday we started to get worried. I emailed both Claire and the phone number numerous times with no response. I then on Tuesday contacted the craigslist posting for reporting fraud to their legal team.
I received one response from them asking for my location and information about our law enforcement. Then on August 6, 2015 at 5;50PM, My husband received a text from 540-602-5234 statingPlease contact Lucia at: lucyans34 for the T100. I have listed the truck for her. Thank u.
We have heard no more from the craigslist legal team and I have posted an additional info report after receivig this last text. I have checked these cards for balance information and it says the last 4 numbers of the social security number I enter is invalid. Can you please help me as we are very limited on funds and have been saving to purchase a truck for my husband as his was a loss in an accident in September 2014. We can't afford a bank payment and have been saving to buy something decent. I am very disappointed in /craigslist and their noncarring attitude. I hope you will be able to help us. That truck was probably worth approx.... $15K
A BUY/sell contract is FAR FROM NORMAL use by private people
