Doug Badertscher is a CONTRACT CEO for Sarasota Orthopedic Associates. He has worked there as a Contractor for over 8 years. Why would the two managing partners of this business Dr. Silverstein and Dr. Farino allos this man to continue to alllow this abusive maniac to be CEO of their organization. Maybe the reason he has been kept as a CONTRACTOR is that they do not want him as an employee. Coming from one who knows, contractors can ben terminated at any time for any reason. Whereas, an employee is required even in an At will employment state to follow several steps.

I worked for this organization for only a few weeks. In that time the things that are done -illegally, with evil intent by this person are mind boggling. He called me "Attila the Hun", that he did not like my blond hair, that I am a perfectionist and that I think I am better than other people. He called me into the board room with an Administrative Assistant low level coniving person who had run to him saying I was treated her "unprofessionaly. She had been sending completely demeaning, unprofessional emails to me and acting like she was my boss. I have news for her, she was not my boss- she is a low liife, uneducated, coniving person who I am sure throught with her dumb approach to the demented CEO that she would be given my job as Director of Human Resources.

The things that came out of this man's mouth would frighten anyone. He yells, raises his voice, demeans his senior staff members in front of others. He is a bully. He does not do things legally. The things hw would say including curse words would make any person question his sanity. Then he filips his bi-polar awitch and wants to talk about how much of a Christian he is.....

The best thing about how he treated me is this I was in the hospital with internal bleeding having blood transfusions and he fired me by emailo. Here is the email:

well, another day in the life of Denise..... to all of you who need a job and maybe even like their job... Never get sick be hospitalized for 4 days bleeding internally having blood transfusions almost dying AND THEN THE ULTIMATE KICK You get an email the next day from the CEO of your company.... and here is the contents: "Yes, I kept tabs and we sent flowers, so hope you received them. I/we are glad you are getting the care you need. Dr Ahamti, is a good physician and a friend, so I know you are in great hands. At this time we are choosing to go in a different direction with the Director of HR, as we are well behind where we need to be due to unforeseen events on our side, and now yours. Mary will process out any compensation owed to you and send it to your home. Most importantly get well and once you are well on the road to recovery, if you need any reference please reach out.

We have several women bonding together concerning treatment like this...... I am going to send all who request it a link to a web petition that another person created. I have a DR NOTE I can't return to work till Monday 1/13. Guess what several employees have told me a new Director starts that day. Please help

THIS IS OFFENSIVE AND ILLEGAL. OH, ALSO, I had a doctor's note saying I could not return to work until today 1/14/19. Guess what a new blond, pretty, 30 somthing new HR Director started working in my place today. Can you say ILLEGAL? I am going to stop his abuse of me and others.

This is not about the care the physicians give their patients. That’s hands down amazing. I would send my own family to get treated there. This pertains to the CEO who has created a hostile work environment in terms of verbal, emotional and mental abuse. He resorts to bullying, intimidation, fear management, stalking employees personal life and uses their law firm to continue with threats.

When reported to Managing Partners they look away and allow him to continue to abuse employees. His abuse is well known and not a hidden secret. Not a healthy environment to work for. Very sad this is being allowed to continue as I believe that the physicians, employees, and managers who run this place daily are FANTASTIC, empathetic and hard working despite the abusive environment the CEO has created.
