Why I am writing this report is because I feel ripped off by this company in question.
To start off with I purchased a package for access to the game in 2013, I was allowed to play the game up until late 2017 when I suddenly had my account barred as Germans call it, or banned as in United States terms without a legitimate reason other than the accusation stated by the company that I illegally purchased currency in game from a 3rd party without actually providing any evidence to back this up, or even any details, other than a couple of friends whom of which I believe 1 or 2 weeks did a trade with me or made an investment for the purpose of leveling up my farms or private islands in the game because I had done favors for them outside the game before in the past, we were on voice communications at the time outside of the game.
Anyways so basically my order was supposed to include Alpha / Beta testing of the game, and a complete delivery of my purchased product on release, which I never received as my account was banned for life during a beta test, for just trading and playing the game for 3-4 years without any incidents previously.
To be short if you read 4.5.1 of the Albion Online Terms OF Service, it says "if you trade" or receive any large amount of trades without anything of equal value in return they will assume you paid real money for it which to me is wrong of a company to do, and it depends how they define "Large Trades" because the game is also advertised as a Sandbox MMORPG, and in a Sandbox game you are supposed to be allowed to trade and give items to anyone you want without fear of being banned or receive them for that matter assuming you don't knowingly accept from a cheater or cheat to gain an unfair davantage, that is how Sandbox MMORPG's have been all these years, and games such as "EVE, Chronicles OF Elyria, Arc Fall, Crow Fall, have answered my question in regards to termination on a users account and said they would not ban any user just for receiving items from a person known as a 3rd party gold seller unless its proven, and likely occurs more than once in a short time aka you won't lose an account for no reason unlike with Albion Online.
4.5.1 Of the user agreement also says that Exchanges in trade without anything in Equal Value will be assumed you bought from a gold seller thus result in your account being terminated, however users such as SAYA from the Albion Online forums, is allowed to receive investments just as I did without getting banned and is clearly breaking the rules, as well as a few other people, and even are allowed to run a non official investment service called "The Bank OF Albion" Go Figure?
And if this isn't enough imagine "Censorship" which I will provide pictures of evidence to back up the claims but the company bans people who simply talk about things they don't like or leave negative comments from their new platform steam in attempts to silence people so more people buy the game and lose their money.
I could care less about $168 I lost trusting this company, its the principle of the concept behind it that matters to me, and the fact I could have found another indie game out there that would have been a lot more respectful, honest, and delivered a solid product than this company Sandbox Interactive.
Out of 20+ Years of gaming I've never had such a horrid experience as with Albion Online.
Attatched is the photos and proof I have collected of everything I have managed to collect including proof that evidence is reviewed, but may not always be accurate thus innocent people can lose their account proven.
Also the company has on multiple times threatened to ban innocent people because of faults of their own which I will also submit, basically they threatened to ban anyone who received gifts from others in game even if they didn't know they did anything wrong and that for a company is awful.
