Terrible company, stay clear of this company especially if you are buying solar panels. I have three clients all with solar panels redo their loans at the same time. One was with solar city and the other with SD Metro Credit Union. They lied to him and told him that he did not have a lien on title, turns out he did and they made him pay them $200.00 to subordinate it. Meaning keep it in second position on title. Otherwise he would not be allowed to refinance. However Solar City removed the lien with no hassle and charged $0.00. Metro Credit Union took so long to approve the subordination that it cost our company $3,000 in lock extension fees. Now for the rest of his life, every time he re does his loan, he has to pay them $200 for nothing.
