I spent over an hour filling out surveys and going to product sites for free samples. I filled out dozens of surveys. The product sites I went to all appeared legit but after dozens of surveys I did not receive one single free sample. Not one! I received opportunities to buy products at full price after I joined the company website, or was offered a discounted price (usually around 20-30%). The best "opportunity" was a 55cent coupon every month (toilet paper). The worst was a survey that at the end just ended (soap/lotion). Not even a "thank you" and it did not return me to the company's website! I encountered a couple of pages that did not provide the option of declining, which meant the user could not continue without providing more information on surveys or--in 2 cases--downloading a mobil app or purchasing an item. If you did not complete all of the surveys in each tier, you could not "earn" the "free" card. I think the legal line might have been crossed on that one. It truly is the worst example of offering something that takes advantage of a consumer with absolutely no return. I know the participating companies are legit because afterward I tracked down their customer service email independent of the website and complained about their behavior. They deserve to be boycotted for taking advantage of consumers. Samplesandsavings state they are not responsible for vendor content--my intent was never to test whether they would follow through with their part of the deal. Other websites report they are a scam. Stay away from this site! I gleefully anticipate the day some class action lawsuit shuts these places down.
