I recently sent in my daughters picture to a baby contest in hopes she would be accepting into her first pageant. She was accepted and we began to go through the motions of ordering her attire and getting her fees and everything in as well as doing things the director miss sammie savoie instructed everyone to do. The last fee was supposed to be sent ,but sammie savoie sent an email to the houston moms saying to drop the money orders off to an office in katy.As i am walking into the office two other parents stop me asking if i am a part of the pageant and once i reply yes they then tell me that the office we were bringing our money to said they could not accept it because they do not have documentation from sammie and that they didn’t know why we were even told to go to their office.
The parents began to contact sammie and she became very rude with them saying the office is lying and that she sent the papaerwork in and even argued with the office manager at one point saying they sent her a confirmation email.. The office manager said he never sent her that. I was just sitting back and watching as one parent began to argue with sammie savoie on the phone. Another company she was supposed to go through even called the office saying that they did not her paperwork as well. A couple that drove from beaumont was also in shock as sammie savoie still tried to get ya to leav our money there. It was very unprofessional and began to look like a scam so i decided to contact sammie to pull my daughter from the pageant and a refund for the money i had sent her. Later that day she became very disrespectful and sent me emails saying i was spreading negativity although i never disrespected her or anyone else also saying my daughter would never be able to compete in her pageants Which i would never enroll her in anyway). Not to mention some of the parents looked her up and she has multiple fraudulent reviews on Yscam as well as she is under investigation for her last pageant in missouri she had a week ago when she was confronted by multiple other parents. It was a horrible experience for my daughters first pageant and she is not business savvy and everything is fraudulent. Please be aware of her if you are thinking of putting your daughter in any beauty pageants with her name on it.
