I would like to express my disappointment and anger over the poor quality service and shoddy workmanship I received from Bobby Salvato in April 2016.
The scope of the project was electrical work including the removal of old knob and tube from the attic of a rental apartment and replacing the meter box on the outside of the house.
According the estimate, the job was suppose to cost approx. $6,000 but it ended up costing me over $16,000 because I needed to hire another electrician to fix the mess and the unsafe conditions that Bobby left me with when he finished the job he was contracted to do.
The poor workmanship was uncovered by another electrician who was hired shortly after this job to hardwire smoke detectors on the 2nd floor. He noticed that electrical work was done recently and when he went to obtain a new permit at Revere City hall for the hardwiring, he discovered this job was never listed or approved by the Electrical Inspector.
In other words, Bobby never pulled a proper permit nor did he have his work inspected by the Revere City Electrical Inspector. I was told the work he performed had to be redone becuase it was not completed and up to code.
