On Tuesday May 15th at approximately 1600 I went to a kiosk in the mall to get my screen replaced. Within one hour I saw my screen was replaced and I paid $86.40 for the service. On Saturday May 20th I went to bed at approximately 2230 and place my phone on my bedside table and my phone appeared to be in 100% working condition. On Sunday May the 21st at approximately 0800 I woke up and saw over half of my phone's screen was completely blacked out.

On the same day, Sunday May the 21st at approximately 1600 I went to best buy to use the geek squad to diagnose my phone. Geek Squad did a test and found the replaced screen has a defective digitizer. Geek Squad diagnosed as a defective part not due to any physical damage. Geek Squad recommended that I go back to the kiosk and have the Kiosk worker replace the screen for no charge since it was a defective part they used and it had been only 6 days.

When I returned to the kiosk I asked for a receipt so I could show I have a proof of purchase. I told the man working there my issue he called his manager. After a discussion with his manager the man told me that I had caused physical damage to my phone by some means, such as dropping or sitting on it. I tried to reason with him but he would not listen and only argued his opinion further.

I went back to Geek Squad to reconfirm and they gave me a copy of their report which stated it was a defective part and not physical damage. I return to the kiosk a second time to reason with the man and show him the report Geek Squad gave to me. The man replied with the same response and tried to convince me it was from physical damage.

I believe I have been wronged because I paid $86.40 for a defective component to be put in my phone and did not receive the product I have paid for; a working iPhone screen.

Other notes:

Geek Squad noted that 2 screws were missing and a plastic piece that prevents the home button from falling out is missing, making 3 parts gone missing from the repairs given by the kiosk.

Geek Squad also noted the screen is not an Apple Certified Screen which also means that the people working at the kiosk are not Apple Certified Phone repairers

Geek Squad also noted I cannot get my iPhone fixed from an Apple Certified service because of apple's policies which prevents any product that has been tampered with by a non-apple certified represented from getting apple certified service.
