I contacted Russell Alred recently to inquire about an old criminal case that had been dismissed. He was very skeptical of me from the beginning. I called his office a few times and left a name and phone number with his secretary. I'm not sure if he got the message or just tossed it, but the secretary told me he was "in court".
I called back days later and spoke to the secretary again. This time I was told he was on another call. I asked for his email address and she gave it to me with no issue. I emailed him and he was a bit startled and leary. He asked how I got his email and also how I heard about him. I told him that his secretary relayed his email to me because I had asked for it and that I had used Google to find him. After asking me a series of questions and getting absolutely no where this attorney, he stopped responding, perhaps because he didn't think I was a real person or I was just playing games.
I ended up finding an attorney who was happy to look into my issue for me without the shadyness. I do not recommend this attorney.
