Russ's Tire & Auto Reviews

He took in a car that supposedly needed an alternator, bought a "Rebuilt" one and it wouldn't work, bought another rebuilt one and let us go. The check engine light was still on.

Get 5.8 miles up the street, car dies just like it had before, won't even turn over. This guy hanging around the parking lot had meters and he came and said the battery is dead. So I finally decide to get a new battery. About that time he calls me and says do not buy another battery. We will take a look at it and be there shortly.4 hours later after I told him to bring a battery, he shows up with jumpers and of course, the car won't start or stay started. He wanted us to leave it in a sketchy parking lot because he couldn't work on Saturday to fix his wrongs.

So he takes us back to the lot, he offers a ride home to me but not my friend who lived maybe 5 miles further, We declined, waited for our ride, went and got a battery which he said would make it 5 miles down the road and die just like before. It made it all the way to both homes and then it sat all night. Morning we get a brand new part, that costs less than he charged us for a rebuilt one, put it in for forty bucks and have not had a problem with it running since. Except for the AC it wasn't working. We spent 10 dollars for labor and someone for them to find the shop had left the compressor unhooked from the ac, which worked fine when we drove it in there. so the compressor was reattached and the ac works great now. Of course he would have charged that too.

Spent 515 to have him use rebuilt parts that did not work.

Spent 300 to fix it

Now he has the nerve to ask for the old alternator back so he can get more money. Like right?

Oh and he only takes cash and takes it directly to the bank after you give it to him.
