This company is the very worst in history. The customer service is a level 0, and their online set up is even worse than that. It appears to be an attempt to keep peoples money from them as long as humanly possible.
I really don't know why this company hasn't been shut down-The run around you get trying to set a pin on a card, activate your card, or even simple questions about set up procedures can't be accidentally this bad, it has to be intentional.
After several attempts over the months I have helped extended family members who use this service, I can tell you I have personally spent hundreds of hours trying to help solve problems with cards that this rush card place has put on them for little or no reason-Somebody needs to pay me for my time on this.
I ordered a replacement ment card and iI was charged 35 dollars it was sent to my address spmething happened with the overnight shipping company they hired to deliver my package it was sent back to rushcard I then had to request another overnight card to be delivered to the excat same address which i recieved no problem they charged me another 35 dollars to have the second card sent 0out again to excact same address no problem something happened with the first delivery im not 100% why they sent it back motes say it was refused nowyourself why would i refuse the first card and i needed it quickly im on goverment benifits due to my disabilty
so i depend on recieving my funds on time banyway the second card was sent out and no problem recieved card at the sameADDRESS AS TEH FIRST ONE WAS SENT so there was no change of address i did not refuse the card who in thie5r right mind would do that but anyway i tried to dispute the charged they informed me it could not be dispued they would send a offline request now keep in mind i have had them do this about 5 times still no money has been returned for something i never recieved also i have no proof that they sent they are just saying it was sent its crazy that they are able to charge take steal my money from me and what can i do they wont give it back they are stealing from people with disabilties they know i recieve a monthly benifit it feels like strong armed robbery please someone tell me where ican i go or what can i do Thank you
I got my federal tax return deposited to my rushcard. All was fine until I noticed some unauthorized charges on my account. I called and found there was fraud and $1400 of my money was transferred from my account to another Rushcard account. My card was cancelled and a new card was send. I went 7 days and still did not recieve my card. I then called again and had a new card expedited which they charged me $35.00 for. The card arrived and I tried to use it and it said it was invalid. I called Rush Card and they todl me that my accoutn had been canvelled due to it being high risk and that my money would be refunded to me via Moneygram. THe next day I received a money gram in the amount of $2500.00. I had another $2500.00 in my account but I could not get that amount because they only did $2500 per day. So the next day I called and they said that there was no reference number yet. I called the next day and was todl the same thing. I called every single day to be told thye needed my ID number, they were missing digits, they didnt have an update, they would expedite it, they cant talk to anyone at corporate, they would put me on hold for hours waiting for a supervisor just to be hung up on or told the same thing. This has been going on for OVER A MONTH NOW! I cant pay my rent. I cant buy things my children need. I am a single mom getting out of a domestic violence situation and this is really causing me alot of stress. I just need my money.... please any solutions.
Rushcard claimed to deposit either $20 or $30 into your account after you deposit your income taxes over $2000 ($20) or $3000 ($30). I checked this information out in January 2017. And i also snapped shot from their website. Rushcard.com Now that my tax deposit has been made , rushcard REMOVED all advertising about this ($20-$30) deposit all over the web. Luckily i still have the picture and just want Rushcard to live up to what they promote and should be held accountable.

I spoke w card service dept he asked me for my card number and email of course my email wasn't the one who had a acct but he did find a acct with a name and address that wasn't mine I had no idea who that person was. He then advised me he was going to shut that persons acct down apologized to me and advised me to contact my bank and they will in fact put all my money back that this person used..awesome right....wrong.. I called rush card again told the rep that I talked to amazon ppl and they will put my money back what form do I need to fill out for rush card to get my money back..she advised I had to fill out a "affidavit of unauthorized card transactions. She emailed me form I filled it out sent it back same day. Then was told it could take up to a month to hear anything I said it shouldn't take that long the merchant agreedvto give my money back..but rep said the dispute dept needs to ck on this then I will hear from them..a month later heard nothing so I called again to ck status and was told a letter was sent I said I didn't get a letter what did it say she couldn't tell me I said well can u send it again and send via email this is a lot of money rep said OK she will put a note to resend. Instead I got a check for $2.95 which was all that was left in my acct . called rush card again entered my new card number they sent me because the other one was being used only to find out that card was " invalid" when a rep came on I said why was they check only for $2.95 she said all she could see is corporate closed my acct I said why. What happened to getting my money back...again " a letter was sent," I was pissed " I didn't get a letter what did it say"..again rep didn't know I said well it can't be that they can't get my money back because I myself called merchant who agreed to give my money back so at this point I wanted to speak to the dispute dept.I couldn't so I said get corporate on the phone. They can only send email to call me back.. 7 months later many emails many calls of where the hell is my money rep only days they only see a note that corporate needs to call me 7 months later haven't heard anything. On July28,2016. My daughter did a card to card transfer for 300.00. I called my card it was not there so I called Rushcard an was told that my card had been compromised and I would need to get a new card ,he told me that the money was there and when my new card come it would transfer to my new card. The card came in 7 days and no money was on the card so I called back this I was told that I couldn't call my daughter had to .my daughter called and they told her they sent it back to her but no money was on her card they said they would investigate it . Then they told her to have me to call . I called a total of 6 time was hung up on left on hold for 20 minutes and the phone went dead one person said they would put a report in I have emailed 3 times each time they told me to call member services and the would help me it is now September 27,2016 and we have no idea what happened to the 300.00 Rushcards member service personal are so rude and very untrustworthy,someone knows what happened to my money.
I was evicted from my apartment on 3/29/2016 I filed a dispute on 3/30/2016 I contacted rushcard on 3/29/2016 to inform them that my stuff was missing as I keep on calling I gets no answer the line busy and no answer I called rushcard the next to tell them my account has been hacked they consider I filed a dispute so I did for 1,154 after I realize that everyone was complaining about how rushcard was I was also very concerned with my account also they are rude and very unorganized rushcard denied me 3 times and was rude to me they did not give me my money back at all now I am in the process of a Atty
I had a weird transaction post to my card on 08/01/2016 from a city in Hong Kong. I have never been there nor purchased from the company Endless Force. I called Rushcard to file a dispute against the charge and the customer service agent immediately disabled my rushcard deeming that it had been compromised.
Two days later, I still have no working card and I am unable to access my funds in any way because in order to send or transfer funds, you have to have the CVV number from your active card. The card they sent is somewhere in the US Postal Mail abyss.
I received several e-mails all week from April Ecostan, Grace Jalandoni and others but the last people in the dispute department that I spoke with were Jolie and now Anna and her supposed supervisor, Ken.
Jolie was unable to answer any questions or provide any resolution as to how I was supposed to manage my life without a working debit card, after the decision was made to immediately shut off my card. I asked to be transferred to her supervisor because she obviously had no answers for me and she hurriedly put me on hold.
I waited more than 20 minutes. The telephone line started ringing again and Jolie answered and introduced herself and thanked me for calling Rushcard dispute department. I stated my name and that I was still holding for her supervisor. She talked loudly over me and pretended not to hear me.... she stated twice that she was not hearing a response and then she abruptly disconnected the telephone line. I still have no working card and absolutely no access to my funds until whenever the "new" card arrives.
I suggest that NO ONE ever apply for a Rushcard again. Their business practices are horrid, customer service is repugnant. I will be filing a formal lawsuit against Unirush and the case will include all parties named and the following board operatives.
Yes Hello I'm a disabled individual who in listed the trust of the following institution to provide me with both security and privacy of my direct deposit through the ssid of funding to both receive my ssid direct deposit payment while also providing both my account and privacy of my information also to protect myself from unauthorized access of my funds well let me first start out by saying that I first started with Rushcard (unirush) back in 2013 It's very frustrating to put your trust in any banking institution these days! So when I had a complete unknown incident with the following company I was completely taken by surprise to find out that in my first claim back in August of 2014 when I was mugged and my wallet stolen that when I first contacted rushcard to let them know what just had a curd that there first reaction was to tell me that they would not be turning off my bank card and if anything where to be changed to my account that I would have to call back in after the fact and only then could I get any assistance with a claim filed and they would then be given 90 days to complete the claim. Now this was only the first of many issues that had been yet to follow like just going to my neighborhood grocery store and have money deducted from my account as if I had agreed to give to some charitable organization like I had the funds to be doing something like that?however the biggest problem cam with a lockout of my fudging to where I tried to contact them for over two weeks straight and because of my being so persistent which I was well in my right to UniRush along with Corry Ward from Metabank in Sue Falls South Dakota then took it upon there selves to proceed to close my account then when I was kicked out of my residence at the time because the inability to pay for both my bills and medications until the rest of the world found out the truth not so many weeks later Which had went on for approximately the next two months straight while this was going on in was still trying to communicate with Rushcard however it wouldn't be until three weeks after the rest of the world was to get there accounts back and active before there corporate headquarters contacted me on the landline phone telling me that they would be making things right for me and they where very sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused me asking me for a account of issues which there update had caused and that they would be in the process of getting me my funds that had been lost or for the issues regarding back payment and issues with my losses Which brings me to my recent issue not only had they blown me off and never attempted to correct thir wrongs though several mouths later allowed transaction to take place on my account with no correct address on file no CVS Code as a visa should have been addressed to the account though on top of everything else another 90 day inconvenience after they had just told the world of media how they had been down for security reasons updates and so forth to again allow something such as this is completely unexplainable...

I received an email notification from rush card on october 8th letting me know they would be doing an update to their system on october 12, 2015 from 3am-8am. As a result, access to online account, mobile app, and RushCard Member Services via phone will be disrupted during this time period. In addition, the account may not reflect new deposits and you will not be able to withdraw funds, use your card for any purchase transactions, or load money to your card using Western Union, MoneyGram, or Green Dot during that time..........it is now october 22, 2015 and i still have no access to my funds, some funds are even missing, you can not get a person to tell you whats going on, how long they expect to be back in working order or whats going to happen to all of our late fees, and all other monies this will have impacts on. my car insurance is being cancelled today. what they update to their card holders and the media is all incorrect information, and if given knowing that its incorrect would be deemed a straight up lie.
I had a friend make a card to card transfer from his account to mine and then a few hours later he made a dispute about the transfer. I called rushcard several times they would not give me much information. I had a direct deposit from social security and I can't touch my money. I'm on a fixed income and rushcard will not unblock my card. spoke to plenty of people who gave me different information. please I need help I am disabled I also have 3children I have to take care of. if someone could please help my family I don't need to be homeless
Rush Card updated there computer systems on October 12th. Since that time I have not had access to my funds. I had a direct deposit in the amount of 420.00 hit my account, but I cant access it. I have made many attempts to be rational and contact customer service. When I finealy did get someone on the phone October 16th all he could tell me is that the computers are down. I have emailed and even reached out through facebook and twitter with no result. I need my money. It may seem like a small amount but I work hard for every penny I make.
Have been a rush card member for years - they updated their system on monday and it has been hell ever since - balance not correct - no access to money - cannot pay bills or buy gas or food or anything - customer service is all lies - hold time hours and have called numerous times ---- something has to be done immediately so customers can get their money out now!!!!

Rushcard Prepaid Card Services, co-founded by media mogul Russell Simmons, sent out notifications to all its members of a system upgrade that was scheduled to take place on Sunday October 11, 2015 between the hours of 3AM – 8AM. We were advised that we would be UNABLE to use any card services, including ATM withdrawals, debit or credit based transactions, account access online or via the mobile app – until this upgrade was completed.
I received an update from Rushcard Member Services on Monday October 12, 2015 advising that they ran into some unforeseen technical difficulties, and that the issue would be resolved pretty quickly. Rushcard Member Services discontinued sending out alerts regarding the outage and directed its members to check the status of their Facebook page for additional updates.
It has been 3 days since customers have NOT been able to access funds in their accounts, pay bills, purchase medication, stop evictions, prevent utilities from being disconnected, just to name a few of the issues we are presently experiencing. Rushcard released a statement around 11pm last night, stating that they were “back up and running” however many customers like myself are still unable to access our accounts or pay any bills and the issue still exists.

I am a member of Rush Card. Iliv in St. Louis, MO. I've been a member for about 2 months. They system was down on 10-11-15. They stated that I will not be able to make transactions or withdraws with my card. I had over $130 in my account. As of today, 10-13-15 I cannot check my balance, no one is answering their phones in the company, they are saying that my card was never activated, and my money is not on my card. I want my money back NOW!!

My children are being neglected because of RushCard / Russell Simmons I am very angry and pissed off RushCard / Russell Simmons isn't trying to accommodate me at all only apologizing and telling me that they're sending me my card something that I'm already entitled too I do not like RushCard / Russell Simmons anymore RushCard / Russell Simmons need to get more in tune with his company Russell Simmons is taken selfies on Facebook with pictures and stuff handle your business by taking care of my problem without my car I have no work I have nothing all i wanted what I worked hard for RushCard / Russell Simmons agreed to send a card in the mail by Tuesday that just passed today is Friday June 24th 2016 even though when I called on Wednesday they offered me gave me one hundred percent guarantee that I would receive my card within 1 to 2 business days today is Friday my mail has came already and no RushCard nothing is being done I want more than just my card the bull crap I had to go through since Tuesday cuz that's when it was supposed to arrive this is bad publicity and it doesn't look good for such an important person to the community I will not stop until I am satisfied the crap my kids just had to go through since Tuesday up until now and it's on going f* Russell Simmons and RushCard but I want my G*d*n money ASAP
I received an email notification from rush card on october 8th letting me know they would be doing an update to their system on october 12, 2015 from 3am-8am. As a result, access to online account, mobile app, and RushCard Member Services via phone will be disrupted during this time period. In addition, the account may not reflect new deposits and you will not be able to withdraw funds, use your card for any purchase transactions, or load money to your card using Western Union, MoneyGram, or Green Dot during that time..........it is now october 22, 2015 and i still have no access to my funds, some funds are even missing, you can not get a person to tell you whats going on, how long they expect to be back in working order or whats going to happen to all of our late fees, and all other monies this will have impacts on. my car insurance is being cancelled today. what they update to their card holders and the media is all incorrect information, and if given knowing that its incorrect would be deemed a straight up lie.
I had a friend make a card to card transfer from his account to mine and then a few hours later he made a dispute about the transfer. I called rushcard several times they would not give me much information. I had a direct deposit from social security and I can't touch my money. I'm on a fixed income and rushcard will not unblock my card. spoke to plenty of people who gave me different information. please I need help I am disabled I also have 3children I have to take care of. if someone could please help my family I don't need to be homeless
Rush Card updated there computer systems on October 12th. Since that time I have not had access to my funds. I had a direct deposit in the amount of 420.00 hit my account, but I cant access it. I have made many attempts to be rational and contact customer service. When I finealy did get someone on the phone October 16th all he could tell me is that the computers are down. I have emailed and even reached out through facebook and twitter with no result. I need my money. It may seem like a small amount but I work hard for every penny I make.
Have been a rush card member for years - they updated their system on monday and it has been hell ever since - balance not correct - no access to money - cannot pay bills or buy gas or food or anything - customer service is all lies - hold time hours and have called numerous times ---- something has to be done immediately so customers can get their money out now!!!!
I have been with Rushcard for years Never have I had this kind of experience Where They are holding My full check becsuse of some system down Since Thursday I have called over a hundred times and only got a hold of a person twice. I need my money i live off check to check my car payment past.due and water im a Single mother this is uncalled for All I want is my check to be put back in my card
Rushcard Prepaid Card Services, co-founded by media mogul Russell Simmons, sent out notifications to all its members of a system upgrade that was scheduled to take place on Sunday October 11, 2015 between the hours of 3AM – 8AM. We were advised that we would be UNABLE to use any card services, including ATM withdrawals, debit or credit based transactions, account access online or via the mobile app – until this upgrade was completed.
I received an update from Rushcard Member Services on Monday October 12, 2015 advising that they ran into some unforeseen technical difficulties, and that the issue would be resolved pretty quickly. Rushcard Member Services discontinued sending out alerts regarding the outage and directed its members to check the status of their Facebook page for additional updates.
It has been 3 days since customers have NOT been able to access funds in their accounts, pay bills, purchase medication, stop evictions, prevent utilities from being disconnected, just to name a few of the issues we are presently experiencing. Rushcard released a statement around 11pm last night, stating that they were “back up and running” however many customers like myself are still unable to access our accounts or pay any bills and the issue still exists.

I am a member of Rush Card. Iliv in St. Louis, MO. I've been a member for about 2 months. They system was down on 10-11-15. They stated that I will not be able to make transactions or withdraws with my card. I had over $130 in my account. As of today, 10-13-15 I cannot check my balance, no one is answering their phones in the company, they are saying that my card was never activated, and my money is not on my card. I want my money back NOW!!
