Nikki Holt claims to be an honest hardworking horse trader but she buys unwanted problem horses from others and trades them out as healthy and the best sound horses. I even had a vet check at her farm on the one I bought from her but the vet failed to even mention the wheezing I could pick up and stomach movement - so she shrugged off and assured me it was just allergies. I though the vet exam would pick up anything to be concerned about but he must be in kahoots with her as noone mentioned anything. Anyone could see he had trouble breathing but again she assured me and the vet told me he was healthy in the respiratiory area so I bought the horse I loved. He continued to deteriorate to the point where i contacted my own vet for a vet exam and she diagnosed COPD that had been there for quite some time and i had only had him for 2 weeks!
I had to contact Nikki within my 30 day trade out to ask for a different horse. She was very defensive but finally agreed to trade out - long story short she tried to charge me an additional $1300 for a horse on top of what I had already paid for the sick horse and then a few hours before shipping mentioned he had a 'few' teeth missing - so I asked for a pic and just how many teeth were missing and he had NO front teeth at all! She is not up front and honest! I said no go that one then she tried to sell me one I could clearly see was not beginner friendly but she argued he was. I said no to that one so she basically said she can not do anything for me then if i did not buy that horse, she claimed he was worth 3K but then see she was selling him days later at auction for a few hundred because he was not begining safe!!!. Every post says she is honest and how she is up front on her face book but I would avoid her like the plague. She is out to make a fast buck and is not someone to trust unfortunately - highly disappointed! she says her aim is make clients happy but it really is not. I now have horse I can not ride and it was my one and only chance of getting one - which she knew - but she sold me one that was sick and beyond helping.
