Registered our team for the April 1-2 tournament that was supposed to take place in Richmond. Only received a confirmation email of payment and then of registration with no instructions other than schedule would be out the Wed before the tourney.
Wednesday, March 29 came and went and no schedule was sent. So I emailed, response was they could help me after 3pm. 4pm came and no response so I called. The guy was really odd, answered my questions which were really vague answers as well. Also said he would call the tourney coordinator and get back to me. Never heard back.
So friday am, March 31, I email again and immediate email response was what is a good number for you? I can help you at 11am. So I gave 2 phone numbers. 11:10am received a email stating the tournament was cancelled b/c the director had a death in the family. Said it would be rescheduled in 2 weeks or we could switch to another one. I responded there is no other local for them and 2 weeks didn't work for us please refund our $275. I have not heard back from them since.
Thankfully, my bank is working on the dispute and getting my money back.
Be aware, do not waste your time or money with these people - they are a scam! Now I have 12 very disappointed kid and parents!
