NEVER WILL I ORDER CABINETS FROM RTA CABINETS OR GARY NEALON! I was shopping for kitchen cabinets for a house remodel that was to be sold within 30 days, I came across RTA Cabinets. Due to shipping container issues throughout the USA, I called them before placing the order to verify their 3 day ship advertisement.
I was told that it was actually 3 to 5 days from the time I placed the order as I chose their advertised Quick Ship. The sale staff said that if I clicked on the item and it did not show "Back Order" then it was in stock and would ship. I was careful to only choose in stock items.
I made the purchase and a couple of days later received a note showing back ordered products over 2 months away. I called the customer service and told them that this would be a problem and could we change the back ordered cabinets to something they had in stock. She claimed that she had no idea what is in stock and that I should go back to the website and choose in stock items and she would send an email to her vendor for approval.
I told her that everything I chose previous was in stock on the web site. She said that she can only do what the vendor tells her. I gave her a replacement request and she said that she would email the vendor. The next day, I called to find out if they had approved the request and Customer Service said they rejected the request because "everything" was in stock and it would ship out by next week.
I followed tracking and received some of the cabinets a few days later only to find it was an "INCOMPLETE " order. I called to see what the problem was and was told that items were back ordered again. I requested a cabinet change to the order to what was in stock and she stated she would send a note to the vendor. A few days later I received notice of shipment and later received that change.
Still missing cabinets and received a new email stating there is another back order that I won't get for 2 more months. I called customer service and told her that I feel that I have been deceived from the beginning after I took precautions to not end up with back ordered product. I requested for her company to pick up the cabinets and give me a full refund. They sent me an email attempting to charge me a 20% RESTOCKING FEE. The BBB also shows similar complaints on RTA.
