Royalty Heating and Air didn't complete the service of installing a Goodman Energy Efficient 60,000 BTU 14 Seers with a 10 years warranty. The company came to our home on 10-28-2021 and gave us a quote for a complete job for our home to be updated and installed by the owner himself Milton Thomas.
Mr, Thomas went the same day and purchased the Gas Furnace and he removed the old Gas furnace from our garage first before he went to purchase a new Gas Furnace which was the Goodman Energy Efficient 60,000 BTU 14 Seers with a Ten-year warranty agreement and he returned to our home the same day to install the new Gas Furnace and stated that he does nothing but 100% Guaranteed work from start to finish or your money back and he installed the Gas Furnace and we did have heat when he finishes the job, so the next week we started hearing a lot of knocking noise coming from the Gas Furnace vent that is in our living room
my partner who lives with me had been calling the company's number 404-736-8082 and no responses so he began to text him every day and still no responses so I had his wife cell phone number in my phone and I told her that I needed a better receipt of what Mr. Milton did because I wanted to let my homeowner insurance company of the new Gas Furnace and she came to our home and wrote out another receipt just stating Paid in Full with the total amount only
I told her this was worse than what her husband gave us and she stated that's all we do and has been doing that for years and it wasn't anything else that she can note except that he did the job and he needed to be paid and my partner stated to her that he has been trying to reach her husband because of issues with the furnace and wanted a quote for the new Air conditioner that they discussed and she stated he has been very busy making sure people have heat which seem to be in your home now and he stated that he need to speak with her husband who installed our Gas Furnace and about a quote for a new Air conditioner.
she stated that she was part owner and she will make sure that her husband calls us tomorrow which would have been 11-15-2021 and we didn't receive any call so late that afternoon we contacted Cool-Ray to come out and they did around 3 pm that evening and we told them about the problem that we had Royalty to install our Gas Furnace and we thought they were going to be able to install the new Air conditioner
cool-Ray stated as he was entering our garage he didn't see a zone system and he did an inspection and told us that we had a lot of issues and our Gas Furnace wouldn't pass inspection and he stated why from what is needed and the first thing he asked us was the paperwork that royalty Heating and Air gave us which was only 2 receipts and he stated that a permit needed to be pulled in order for Royalty or any company to install a Gas Furnace and Air Conditioner which is required by law not just for them to make money but for the safety of all,
so my partner called Royalty Heating and Air to ask him why didn't he do his job correctly and he got very angry and stated that we don't need to listen to those folks and he know that Cool-Ray is at our home because Mr. Milton Thomas lives 3 doors down from us and we found this out when he came to our home to give us a quote on10-28-2021
my partner stated that he tried to reach him over and over and he didn't call him back nor did he text him but now he wants to get angry because of the actions we had to take for us to remain safe in our home and paid dearly for Cool-Ray coming out on 11-16-2021 to repair the Gas Furnace that Royalty heating and Air didn't do and also they installed a New Air Conditioner which total $6800.00 dollars
we have a inspection date on 12-13-2021 for both the corrected repaired Gas Furnace repair and the new air Conditioner and Cool-Ray had to complete the job that was undone from Royalty heating and air which was our home needed a permit -supplies 2 separate levels that required an electronic zone system which they installed order for our home to pass inspection and meet current Georgia Building Code,second there were no mastic sealant applied to any of the silver tapeor new connections where the Gas Furnace was installed.
This is also required by Code. Finally it was noticed and noted that the new Gas Furnace was not sealed to the existing return opening in the wall. This allowed a 1/2" gap between the wall in the garage and the Gas furnace which caused return air to be pulled from the garage area. All of these Issues were addressed during the installation of the new Air conditioner and coil which Cool-Ray performed and that is why I did on 11-18-2021 a dispute with my credit card company and I told Royalty that I wanted to pay them for the Gas Furnace and to please give the the price of the Gas Furnace so I could pay them for that only
they refused and stated no so now they are making it very hard to deal with because my credit card company stated that they will have to put the entire charge back for a credit to me and I would have to make it right with the hopes that Royalty Heating and air understands what we went through and accept some responsibility for what they did and they are still very angry and I hope we can resolve the issue and now he did not suppose to do any type of installation because he has been removed from the State Register because he didn't renew his certification since 8-24-2017 and had no business doing what he did in our home
now we know he wasn't Registered with the State of Georgia and has no Liability Insurance at all to be doing any of this work and they told us to report it to the State Attorney General Office and the Federal Trade Commission and the Better Business Bureau and the Licensing Division and the Secetary of State which I have file d all claims with them and more Agencies simply because of their actions not mine and that is if you do the right thing from the start you will be alright at the end and Royalty Heating and Air are a Fraudulent Company that lures consumers in with their promises and mouth and don't know when to shut up so I am continuing to file complaints and reports to several more Agencies and my final filing will be in the Clayton County Courts because he needs to be stopped before someone really gets harmed and I want too keep them out of Harm's Way.
