Royal Meds Pharmacy Reviews

  • Mar 30, 2020

I am reporting this scam for a friend of mine who is too distraught to do it himself. My friend is disabled and suffers from acute pain and a bad heart. Because of the "opiate abuse" problems his doctor (along with many other doctors) has cut down on his medication to the point he can barely walk. I wanted to put that first before any of you decided to point fingers.

A couple of weeks ago he found a website that sold medication without a prescription. Yes, that was wrong but what the owners of Royal Meds Pharmacy did to him was much worse and played on his desperation. The website advertises that the medication will be delivered in 24 hours. Lie number one even though he paid $55 for overnight delivery. A week went by before a "tracking number" was sent from Air Mail Courier located in Denver, CO. Thomas (doubt that was his name) told my friend that the parcels were stuck at the airport and that he had to pay a $500 fee which was refundable upon the package delivery, to make sure the package got on it's way without anyone checking it's contents. My friend complied even though I had to lend him the money.

Days go by and no answer from Thomas as to where the package is. Finally my friend gets another text message and an email to tell him that the driver of the courier van had been stopped by Law officers and that Thomas and his Board were negotiating with the officer to look the other way and let the driver leave. Two days later they came to a deal that for $300k he could leave. Now the messages starting coming that my friend had to pay $650 if he wanted his package to leave with the driver. If he didn't pay his package would be left behind with his name, address and contents of the package and the Feds would arrest him as soon as the package was delivered.

My friend is now afraid to not send the money even though he is broke. That was two days ago and the owner of this fake Pharmarcy keeps messaging him to threaten him about what happens if he doesn't pay. I checked their website and they have great reviews which I doubt are even real and every few seconds names of people and where they live pop up with what they purchased. They seem to be doing a heck of lot of business. I find it hard to believe that everyone has given into their extortion.

After doing some searching on the Rip Off website, it seems asking for more money for insurance after paying for the order; seems to be a new scam. Forcing people to pay more money by threatening them with arrest or any other type of punishment is extortion. My friend wants to pay the money (which he will have to borrow from me again) but I doubt that even if he does pay - nothing will come.
