My client had a contract with Royal Charter Petroleum (Ahmed Hmidi) for the delivery of 200,000 MT of D2 per month. The contract started in August 2016 with a first lift of 100,000 MT. Everything was negotiated with Muhamet Kurtis of KG Trading of Hamburg and Copenhagen.
The first lift was delayed with Muhamet Kurtis constantly making assurances that everything was fine and the first lift was imminent. In mid September Muhamet Kurtis stated that my client needed to gets its logistics into place. Accordingly it arranged a vessel to collect the first delivery FOB Rotterdam. With the vessel in place the first delivery was day after day delayed. At all times Muhamet Kurtis told my client not to release the vessel.
My client finally received Proof of Documents on 13 September being a Dip Test Authority, Tank Storage Receipt and a Tank Storage Agreement. ALL THE DOCUMENTS WERE FAKE. Even when my client informed Muhamet Kurtis of this he still urged my client to engage SGS to carry out a dip test at more expense and forwarded messages with the GPS co-ordinates of the tanks on the TSR. The tanks on the TSR were located in front of a chemical factory in Rotterdam and supplied chemiclas to the factory.
Even more alarming was that in the following 24 hours we discovered that Muhamet Kurtis had invoiced the same non existent D2 to two other companies using exactly the same details and exactly the same invoice number from Royal Charter Petroleum.
My client has lost a substantial amount of money and loss of profit. ANYONE ENGAGING THIS COMPANY, ROYAL CHARTER PETROLEUM OR MUHAMET KURTIS SHOULD READ THIS VERY CAREFULLY AND PROCEED WITH GREAT CAUTION. MUHAMET KURTIS IS ECONOMICAL WITH THE TRUTH AND TREATS CLIENTS WITH CONTEMPT. IN SUMMARY IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO BELIEVE ANYTHING THAT MUHAMET KURTIS SAYS.
