Route 46 Nissan Reviews

  • Sep 3, 2019

I brought my 2016 Nissan altima under full warranty here because my CVT was acting up. They finished the car in a few days and told me it was ready for pick up. I picked up my car and noticed it was pulling slightly left on my way home. They had done an alignment with the trans service.

When I got home I looked at the car and noticed my back right tire was filthy and scraped. I immediately called the dealer and told them about it. The service advisor sam didn't even question me or ask for pictures just said that they would take care of it. I found this quite odd because it seemed like they knew and were trying to see if I would notice.

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!! I wish I would have checked the reviews before my husband and I drove to the dealership. The price quoted online will NOT be the actual price you get once you get to the dealership. They told us that was a customer appreciation price and once we verified that it DID NOT say that on the website they then agreed to honor the online price. It was not until we got a call from our bank with the faxed Purchase Order did we find out they added the cost any way stating now that it was fees for them maintaining the vehicle. My husband and I walked out.... STOP BUYING CARS FROM THIS DEALERSHIP SO THEY CAN GO OUT OF BUSINESS AND BE PENALIZED FOR THEIR SHADY DEALINGS!!!

My husband and I went to Route 46 Nissan on June 14, 2016 to purchase a second vehicle. We were shown a 2013 Nissan Versa by Mark Garcia and negotiated the price to 11,500 including the certified pre owned warranty. They argued that they couldn't give us the warranty for free, but we spoke with a finance guy (not Kevin) and all of a sudden they agreed that they could include it in our deal. We agreed to this deal and financed the vehicle for a 3 year loan with payments of 259 a month. With a near perfect credit score we were given a 6% interest loan. At this point all that was left to do was to sign paperwork in the finance office with Kevin Woodridge. Kevin said we could sign the paperwork and he would drop the paperwork and the license plates off at our house or he would mail them. At this point my husband had to work and I just had to sign paperwork. I signed the paperwork took the keys and left, no papers in hand. We received paperwork a few days later with the plates but still no Bill of Sale. Now two months ago we were looking into paying the car off, so I called for my pay out and was told it was over 14,000. After doing some research we come to find that our financing was switched to 75 months.

In hopes of this being an honest mistake we decided to go to the dealership this past Saturday May 21st to see if we could sort the situation out. We asked if we could look at our previous deal and we were told they couldn't access it because it was the weekend, even though Kevin was in his office. They informed us that we purchased Gap insurance which covered the car at total loss or theft (which I had never even heard of before) and also purchased certified pre owned warranty which we had negotiated for free. In hopes of making it right, they offered to lease us a Sentra for 3 years $340/month, we declined and left. I then requested my father get involved, he went to the dealership with a signed letter from me to release the bill of sale and finance paperwork that i did not have in my possession, they refused and said they would only release to me.

I went in today to get the paperwork and sat with Mark and Kevin briefly, they gave me the paperwork. They informed me that they didn't mean that the certified pre owned warranty was included for free in our purchase as discussed but included in our payment payments. They didn't acknowledge this but our payments were switched from the discussed 36 months to 75 month. They did that because we were so insistent on our payments being at $260 a month. They told me today that if we canceled the two warranty's our payoff would be around 11k, but there is no way we would have bought a 11k vehicle for 17k.
