With the photos you can tell they send patients crappy quality walkers that will probably collapse so you break your hip and your leg again so you wind up back in therapy. Now look at the quality that they send the physical therapy places? look at the wheels how thick the rubber is and look at the spokes?

The spokes have 8 spokes and the one they send to patients that are being discharged only have 5 and the rubber is so thin the wheels will wear out in a couple of weeks instead of a couple of years like the quality they send to rehab places.

Look at the photos and even the hand grips they don't look like they'll last a week? This is why I do not shop online you need to go to stores because when you order online they send you third third world country quality merchandise.

Oxygen equipment

Back in November 2017 my husband was tested for sleep apnea, the good news he doesn't have it; however, he needs oxygen at night when he sleeps. We have had the run around with Lincare and got nothing but crap. After about 3 months, we gave up and went to Rotech due to that is an in network supplier for our insurance. We have been very pleased with this company. The nurse at our doctors office contacted Rotech on a Friday afternoon and by that evening, 7pm we got a call from this company regarding the prescription. They informed us that it would be delivered to us that evening, which we could not believe. Well at 7:45 the gentleman that was on our route called and said that he was on his way and would be there at a certain time. Well, he was. He was there at 8:40 PM on a Friday, delivered the equipment and showed up how to use it and he also set it up. We could not believe this was happening due to the experience we had had with Lincare. If I was asked by anybody who I would recommend for their medical equipment, I would, with out hesitation suggest Rotech. So far we have had not issues what so every.

My mom has to use this company for her medical supplies. They rarely get her order right. They have a 30 day return policy, only if the shipping box is unopened. You have to open the box to know if your order is correct. They take their time getting the order to you, & the 30 days starts when you place the order. The 30 days is almost out when you receive the order! The last time it was wrong, I called the person who took the order, she was out to lunch. I called 4 more times, all different times of the day, & she was always "out to lunch". By the time I talked to someone about the order they said the 30 days had expired & I could not return the items. I said, but I have called 6 times trying to return the items, & the person was always out to lunch. She said, well, I don't know about that, I don't show that you have called at all. So everytime I called & thought I was leaving a message, either the person I talked to didn't note the message in the computer, as per their way of taking messages or notes about the account, or she was lying. She asked if the box had been opened. I said yes. She said that they couldn't take it back anyway because of federal regulations. I said, but how are you supposed to know what is in the box unless we open it? She said it's not my law ma'am it's the governments law. I then asked how I was supposed to send it back without a return form, when the return form was also in the box? She said ma'am we can't take it back, you opened it & the 30 days is up. Is there anything else I can help you with? I said yes you can let us return these items & get my mom the items she needs.

Of course we went round & round, I finally hung up & called mom's insurance company. They did a 3 way call & told them they were going to take the items back. They have gotten her order wrong more then once. I am in the process of trying to get help with her current shipment of wrong masks.

They other on going issue we have is with the card that records the reading of the machine use. Mom's ins won't allow her to have her supplies unless they have a reading every 6 months. When we got the machine, Rhema told us after the first 90 days to return the little piece on the back of the machine. Just to mail it back. The machine would work with out it, it was just a piece that they needed for their records. They are right, the machine works without it. But, the little piece we had to send back was the modem. Without it, the card doesn't record anything. So when we go to mom's pulmonologist, her general practitioner, or need to have a reading for the ins company we can not get a reading. Rhema says there is no reason for the Dr.'s not to be able to get a reading. Rhema says they don't know what they are doing. SO, I had to take the card in to Rhema's office (20 miles away) to get a reading. When we got to the office, we could't find anyone. We called out "hello", & we heard a voice from the back saying they would be there in a min. That min turned into 30. When the employee (who didn't introduce herself to us) came to the front she took the card, went into her office & got a reading. She said, see no problem. I asked, so I am going to have to do this everytime I need a reading? She said you can send it in. I said oh that's convinent! I can't trust you to get mom's orders right, there is no way I am going to mail this little card to you, & trust you to send it back along with the reading.

They are uncaring, incompetent, & horrible to work with. Their consumers are sick people, people who shouldn't have to go thru all of this to get what they need. Rhema is getting paid whether they get the order right or not, so they don't care if they get it right. I also called sleep central & was treated the same way. Terrible customer service!

This company is a true ripoff.

I received a CPAP machine with the idea that Medicare would pay for it. I then started getting bill notifications that I owe a monthly charges (per the invoice) because they billed Medicare and Medicare did not pay all or any of the charge which tells me they are over charging this amount and it is refused by Medicare.

They then put me on an autocall list and they call several times a week, and tell you you can get new supplies. When they ship supplies, the package has 8 nose pieces in a bag and the question asked by the autocall is "do you have any unopened packages of nosepieces". When I received the package of eight, I open it and take one out. I will still be using this nosepiece when they start calling again. The first time I answered no I do not have any unopened packages, and immediately received 8 more and then I started receiving bills from them as Medicare would not pay the charges. You do not have the option of NO, I do not need any nosepieces, just do you have unopened packages.

They also tell me I can get a new air hose, and get the same question about the unopened package, which is no, I do not have any unopened hoses as I am using the last one they sent which is still in perfect working order, and I have the one prior to the last hose that is in perfect condition. The nose piece and the hose can be used for months at a timeor maybe a year or more if cleaned and disinfected routinely, which I do. My wife has a CPAP machine which was provided by her private insurance company, and they certainly do not replace the hose and nosepiece on a monthly basis.

I am not sure why this type of service is not monitored by Medicare as the supplies do not need to be replaced this often.

The amount charged by Rotech is always greater than what Medicare approves when they do pay, and the individual is billed the difference. I had to block their phone number as they will call several times in a day if you do not respond.

I can purchase my supplies other places for less than what the overcharge is that Medicare declines to pay.
