I paid $47 and signed up for an internet marketing program. I found out later that the $47 went to 5 or 6 companies and the first one to call is what happened to me, even though I thought I was getting a call from a different company. The site I originally read said you could start making money the first day. (no way) They got me to spend $150 for an internet marketing site.
Then I was supposed to listen to 20-25 hours of Rory talking about what to do, how to do, etc. After about 10 hours of listening to this guy talk about how great he was and clicking through all sorts of computer programs, I was supposed to start building my own website, which I started to do. But then I get a call from a Nile Eddy who started helping me build my website, sort of. It was so confusing I was having a hard time with all the computer stuff. He said he would help but never did.
Then he said I had to buy some supplements that would help me sleep, digest my food better, make me a better person (all lies), and also join a wine club. All this cost $800. I told him I didn't have the $800 and he said no problem because they had a program that would put $750 in my bank account IMMEDIATELY for the next 6 months. I never did figure out what it was or how it worked but he absolutely guaranteed the money would be in my bank account in time to pay the credit card bill. Then he told me to call Austin to get me started on getting the $750.
When I got done with Austin said it would all be set up in 4 or 5 months. I told him Nile said it would be there immediately. He said Nile knew that it took several months to set up. When I called Nile back, he lied and said he didn't say it would be there immediately. So then I said to cancel my supplement and wine order because I was done, but of course, he said it was too late as everything had already been processed.
Along the way, I found out this Rory character was not really an internet marketing genius at all, because I was supposed to get my friends, relatives, church contacts, etc. to buy the supplements and wine. In addition, I was supposed to go on Facebook, Twitter, and all sorts of websites to sell the products and to get people to sign up and they were to get people to sign up. Basically, this was not an internet marketing program but an MLM program. If I had known that in the beginning, I would have run for the hills.
After this experience, I went on the internet and found all sorts of complaints about Rory Rickard. How he has escaped being prosecuted I don't know, but he is a real scam artist.
