Operating as an unlicensed apartment sharing agent, room finding agent, takes advance fees from room seekers. Stay away from 65 Wall Street, 8th Floor, in Lower Manhattan.
While I was at their sleazy office, COPS came by because they were investigating a scamming complaint from earlier that same day! Turns out these scammers take an advance fee, and later that day, they send you an e-mail with a list of apartments and rooms that they extracted from the internet without the owners permission, and were rented months ago. This SCAMMER wants an ADVANCE FEE so they can hoodwink the housing seeker! Don’t fall for it.
If you were scammed by this CON ARTIST, do this: Go back to 65 Wall Street, 8th Floor, remain in the hallway, call 911, tell operator you want COPS at that location so you can file a Scheme To Defraud report. While COPS are there, they will get you your money back.
