In 2005 my husband was being wrongly deported, I had proof of an INS appointment and they said he was supposed to voluntarily deport. In 2005 we were pulled over and the police took him into custody for deportation. I went to my lawyer Terry Rombough and he recommended to allow for the deportation even though I had proof. I followed his legal advice and paid $2500 cash for him to work on getting my husband back and never heard from him for 1 1/2 to 2 years (after repeatedly trying to get in contact with him) when we went to an INS meeting. I was told I'd be hearing from him soon for another meeting that never occurred. Then I'm 2010 my husband was murdered in Mexico and have left my kids without a father. Due to him not being here legally I can not receive SSI. I tried several times to reach out to Terry to get all my paperwork that I had given him (including my proof of appointment) but to no avail. There was a life unnecessarily lost due to his negligence.
