Got home after a long shift, took my pregnant wife to Roma's Pizza to see the menu and see what she would like for dinner tonight.
Her old acquaintance named Keisha 3 weeks new at this job was catching up on gossip with my wife as we are trying to decide what we want for dinner to take home.
most of our order was correct except when I asked for Deep Dish and the server admitted to the mistake ...of ringing up regular crust.
The server talked to the Manager and was told to tell me I needed to pay a $1.50 more after we had waited 20 minutes for our order and now having to wait longer to fix an error on their behalf.
The manager came out and said it cost more and If I wanted it that way I would have to pay the amount.
I explained to the manager that we have been waiting and the error was not on our part and we have to wait longer for the fix and still have to pay the $1.50?
I told her then I would like a full refund on $32.75 she then went on about how they are the best pizza chain in town and I wouldn't get as good quality any where eles. I told her I did not care that Id drive to the next town to get better customer service.
The Store owner then Came out and approved the refund and did not want to wave the $1.50. Not only they lost $32.75 they lost a customer. If our family of 5 want pizza we will drive to Bridgport pizza hut to get better pizza and service.
The wife and I then went to village Kitchen and I give them 5 stars on service. I told the waitress about our experience and how it brought us to their restaurant she agreed and said last time they ate there they got food poison. Our service and waitress at Village Kitchen was superior we will be back. As for Romas Pizza customer service triumphs over quality of food.
you just lost us as customers and will continue to spread the message of what I experience here today.
