I have known W. Roger Salam for approximately 10 years.
He appears extremely professional, trustworthy, knowledgeable and hospitable. I discovered over time that this is his “smoke and mirror” strategy in a failed life to attract fools who fall for it. I don’t consider myself a fool, however having been trapped by his charm, I guess I am.
I trusted him and gave him immense respect and welcomed him as a true brother. Indeed he helped me in many ways, which I now realize was simply a tact to build trust and a feeling of guilt that I “owe him”. I will give him the benefit of doubt that I was scammed through no choice and that he was in a bad moment. However, there was NOTHING stopping him from being simply human and helping me to come out of the mess he put me in. Here is what I am talking about:
Having captured my love and trust, Roger offered me a business proposal which I should have seen through because “it was too good to be true”. Often in life when there is such love and trust we get complacent and ignorant to “see the wood for the trees”.
He offered a deal where I can buy 13 properties for $125,000 and he would within 6 months sell them individually through his school to investors who couldn’t buy the bulk and we could easily double the money.
I agreed to split the profit. He would do the deal and I would fund it. When the deal went bad he couldn’t sell the properties. He wasn’t interested in helping me recover any money or pay towards my losses.
I am now over 4 yrs. into the deal, lost a ton of sleep and stressed – with only $45,000 returned.I am at $80,000 loss and countless sleepless nights and 100’s of hours in time and lost opportunity.
He ought to be in jail for this and other scams I have heard of which I have not verified but having been through what I have and seeing his failures in countless ventures every few oonths, I believe it. If anyone wants more information or verification of anything I state above as FACTUAL. Please email me via [email protected] and I will be happy to further discuss.
My review and opinion above is to stay away from this man, however the choice as always remains yours. The above is my statement of fact, I am NOT slandering or libeling Roger because I have evidence of the above being the truth.
I am thankful that I can finally get this out and off my chest and release some frustration.”
I began working with Roger Salam aka International Winners Circle as an affiliate of his around 2012. At that time, I had known Roger Salam for many years, had been to many of his events, and he seemed like a legitimate businessman.
Interestingly enough, Roger always seems to talk about “doing the right thing” and “being a good person” however, in practice this is not the truth. Many of his “clients” have told me that they were ripped off by him but are too scared to go online and say anything.
The first time I ever did a deal with Roger, he scammed me more than $50K. I loaned him $100K for his Winners Circle cruise, which he was too broke to pay for himself, even though he rented himself the most expensive room on the ship for $50K in order to make himself look wealthy to attract more deals.
Our signed agreement was completely ignored, I was lied to, and couldn’t get in contact with Roger after the cruise was over. He continued to ignore me.
If you do a deep dive on Google for “Roger Salam Scam” you will see a few people have left negative comments, but from my experience there are many more jaded clients out there. This is why I no longer work with Roger or other affiliates he’s associated with.
In my experience, Roger is very convincing. He will over promise all kinds of great benefits from working with him, but things always fall through. Instead of under promise and over deliver, Roger Salam will over promise and severely under deliver, Roger will say anything he needs to make a deal with you and take your money.
Over the next year he paid me back some of what was owed, ultimately getting angry at me that I was continuing to follow up to get repayment on my monies owed. Shortly after he stopped paying all together. To this date, Roger Salam still owes over $50K.
Not only has he not paid back the full amount I lent him, he also hasn’t paid me any of the interest which was agreed upon. I would recommend staying away from this scam artist. Well into his 50’s he has absolutely nothing to show for his life.
He claims to have worked for Tony Robbins yet does not own a home, does not own a car, flies from city to city putting on seminars without having any significant assets or even enough money to finance his own cruises.
