I hired this company to implement significant hardscape and softscape improvements to my back yard. The project started out bad and only got worse. I have terminated their services and initiated legal proceedings. Note that at this time they carry the minimum bond allowed by the state and their insurance policy is not robust. My attorney informed me that if I sue them for damages and prevail, Eric Ray has stated that he will file for bankruptcy.
They did more damage to my yard then adding improvements. Almost every structure they added had to be torn down due to structural defects and/or poor workmanship. I took lots of pictures and videos and I would be happy to share the details of this nightmare with anyone interested.
For my project they did not have a persistent onsite foreman. They do not appear to have any employees and for my project, they outsourced all of the work to mostly foreign speaking individuals with questionable skills. From the beginning of the project I requested a plan/schedule and one was never produced. Consequently work was performed in the wrong order creating unnecessary rework and damage. Many times during the project the work would stop and no reason would be given. Eric and Gil would push for payments leading me to believe they had run out of money.
I would like to help others avoid the disaster that I experienced. The quality of work performed at my house was so bad that I am compelled to warn others.
