Robert George Ridgeway, age 21, caucasian, 6' tall, with dark closely cropperd hair cut presents himself as a yard worker, a home repairman, painter preying upon the elderly. He presents himself as being needy, and wil do anything for work so he can support himself. He spins a sad story of having no help, no family suport and on his own. He will steal money, and beg for handouts. He is exceedingly manipulative and dishonest. He will create a scam operation to commit fraud employing his friends, family as conspirators to back up his claims to extort money and support. He often uses disposable phones pretending to be different people who back up his claims to extort money.
He has asked for assistance in financing or repairing a vehicle so he can get to work, playing on sympathy, making promises to repay, but will not repay. He will make claims of being extremely appreciative and offer profusive thank yous, but never repay.
He has run fake victim frauds claiming to have been in an accident and is incorrectly being held in jail by the police for something he did not do, requeting bond money.
He will claim he has a medical problem, needing to see a doctor but has no funds, or that he is homeles again, and has no food. Generally speaking he will provide no confirmation for any of his fraudulent claims, insisting he lost the receipts, can't remember the address, or he'll bring it later, which never happens.
He has enlisted the aid of other family members, including his mother, Rhonda Ridgeway, and friends, Anthony Calvo, wh will do his mechanical repairs at a very low cost if you will only pay for them in advance, Joshua Weil, a car salesman confidance man, Alejandro Noda, always in need of a loan which he will promise to repay on payday then he disappears.
Ridgeway is always in need of rent money, food money, gas money, assistance to purchase a vehicle and makes great promises of appreciation with plans to repay that never occur. Most and foremost Ridgeway is a pathological liar, a theif, and a con man who will use anyone for his convenience with no remorse.
He is presently slated to appear in court in Palm Beach County on March 29 for failure to pay traffic fines. He is driving a 2007 Cherry Red Chrysler 300 that he obtained fraudulently, with tags from a 96 Mustang. The Chrysler is not titled in his name, and may possibly be stolen, or salvaged after being totaled but needs a salvage title. He has no drivers license nor car insurance. He has a large group of family members in the area by the surnames Pugh and Ridgeway.
He presents himself as very amiable, a bit shy, willing to work, but will eventually petition for monetary assistance of some sort and manipulate, coerce and steal to get what he wants.
