Received a call at my workplace today from RMP, LLC. They gave the usual, "this call will be recorded" info. Then immediately asked for identifying info. They claimed I had outstanding medical debts. Both debts were around $25 - so the amount was relatively small. One from six years ago and one from the past year. I asked for more information - i.e., what the debts actually are and who they were incurred with - they provided two business names of healthcare providers. I wasn't familiar with either of them so I refused to pay them over the phone.
They gave me a website address that is invalid: RMP.com
I contacted one of the providers they said they were collecting for because I thought there might be some possibility I had overlooked an expense that hadn't been covered by my insurance. That provider had no record of my last name as a patient and no record of any bill.
The other provider was one I have never heard of or visited.

I have to assume this is a scam.
