Robert Dale Hill Reviews

  • Jan 14, 2017

Robert Dale Hill, aka the Wind Walker.. Trader, half-a** musician, dealer of art, artifacts, fake diamonds, fake Indian art.

I am a Native American stone carver. I have done that for a living since 1980. This is an old event but people need to know that they cannot trust Robert Dale Hill.. Many years ago, he came to my home wanting me to make him some things. I was very poor and every day, it was hand to mouth for my wife, young son and myself. Robert offered me an opportunity to make some really good money for a few days work. I remember well, he looked me in the eye, shook my hand and promised me that he would never cheat me. Robert had a reputation for cheating people, mostly very rich people. I was afraid he would cheat me as well. His promise meant a lot to me.

Robert left a diamond saw for collerateral on my work as I began and said he would return in a few days to pick up my work and pay me. In three days, he came and I was finished. I had worked day and night and used up all my tools to make the items he wanted. At this point, if he didn't pay me, I was out of business and we were even going to have our electricity cut off that next day. That was why it was so important for me to make this money from Hill.

Hill was very pleased with my work. Then he said he would have to go to a shop of a friend about 40 miles away to get the money he owed me. I immediately knew he was lying. He wanted to take the saw that he had left as collerateral saying it belonged to the guy who he was going to get my money from.. I said I would ride with him. So, we rode to the shop and the guy was not there. Robert Hill brought me back home, saying hen we got there, he would dig thru his van and find me some trade that I could go sell to get the money he owed me.. We pulled in the driveway and we opened our doors, I got out, he slammed his door and sped out of my driveway.. He left there owing me $850.00 cash for my work. He knew that we had no food, no nothing. He also knew my electricity would be cut off the next day, he simply did not care. Yes, he took my work so he more or less stold from me, the poorest of the poor. Over the years, he joked to other traders about what he did to me and my family. He sells high end art pieces and high end fake stuff to. Today, he lives in Nashville Tennessee and thinks of himself as some kind of folk hero. In fact, he is scum, the lowest form of humankind. I want the world to know what this con artist did to me, the poorest of the poor and how he did it without so much as a care. I will never forget. I hope anyone who wants to trade with him will read this first. My $850 dollars in 1988 plus interest should be a pretty tidy sum today..
