Went in to have two tires replaced. When I went to pick the car up they had uped the price $40 (then retracked to quoted price), broke one of the tire pressure maintenanvce valves and tried to rip me for another $100 and had grease or oil stains on front seat.
I had 4 tires installed and an alignment done. I asked the asst service manager to make sure that the steering wheel was straightened during the alignment which he assured me it would be. After leaving I found that the steering wheel was tilted to the left and the car steered to the right on its own and also steered more easily to the right than the left.
The next day I went back and had the alignment done again. After leaving the car exhibited the same problem and the steering wheel was not corrected.
A week later I went back and had it checked and aligned again. I left with no change to the steering behavior and the steering wheel remained crooked.
I went back a week later to find the store closed at 3pm for Halloween. Fine.
The following week I went to Tire Kingdom and paid again to have the alignment done. The driver side rear tire was out of toe -.67 degrees which was causing the car to steer to the right. The steering wheel is now straight as it should have been from the start and as I was promised during my initial visit.
I have requested that my money be refunded but the store has refused and only offered to compensate me with more service which I refused as I will not have anyone from there working on my vehicle ever again. I am totally appalled at the poor service I received and the unwillingness of Rick Johnsons' to honor the work performed (or not performed as it is). The assistant manager and manager of this store were unyielding and arrogant in their refusal to believe that the tech might be incompetent or could possibly have made a mistake. An apology and handshake is not enough and in fact is kind of insulting considering the situation. I am completely unsatisfied and I feel reasonably so. These guys have ripped me off for eighty plus dollars and I would like it back immediately.
